    Brilliant line there:

Facing 78 felonies in three different jurisdictions, with a grand jury in Fulton County, Georgia, still waiting to weigh in — and perhaps facing additional federal charges or possible state charges in Michigan, Arizona and elsewhere — Donald Trump has spent the last few days spewing forth an extraordinary level of venom, even for him. While our current president is dealing with the economy, an overseas war and increased aggression in the Middle East and Asia, Trump is running for president hoping to avoid prison time, while also seeking revenge for his 2020 defeat. He is unquestionably insane, either temporarily or for good.
Perhaps he's setting himself up to plead diminished mental capacity after a slew of recent posts on his favorite social media platform that sound like a horrible cry for help. Call it the wailing of the banshees or whatever else you want, but Trump now seems the living embodiment of Edvard Munch's famous 1893 painting in oil tempera, pastel and crayon, "The Scream." He is out there with only his Kool-Aid drinkers beside him as he melts down into a puddle of sweat, makeup and a Rodney Dangerfield suit.

Two party politics insists on joining Trump v Biden as the only show in town. Is there really such a lack of genuine character in the US that these two represent the only opportunity for America?

Thats probably the greatest indictment against the country right now. A muppet v a lunatic? One of them gets to be a pretend President for the next 4 years. What a mess.

It could be worse. Imagine if one of them is running from prison.

    Ten more indictments.

    I've lost count now.

Honestly, the bloke is such a fucking fraud but he'll still make fortunes bragging about them.

Atlanta prosecutors appeared Monday to inadvertently reveal the offenses with which they plan to charge former President Donald Trump in connection with his bid to overturn the 2020 election result in Georgia.
A two-page docket obtained by Reuters that was briefly posted and then removed from the Fulton County court’s website showed the 77-year-old potentially facing 13 counts — including violation of the Peach State’s anti-racketeering law, conspiracy, false statements and asking a public official to violate their oath of office.

18 others indicted too. Including Rudy Giuliani (did you see his cameo in Painkiller? The bloke should go to jail for that alone).

    Fucking magic

    • Fulton County prosecutors have records connecting Trump’s legal team to the breach of the voting system in rural Coffee County, Ga. in January 2021, CNN reported. “This is damning stuff and the kind of evidence built for Georgia RICO,” Georgia State University law professor Anthony Michael Kreis tweeted. “This shows a pattern of unlawful activity all over the state.”

It's funny how the Republitards so obsessively hate transgenders yet Caitlin Jenner is on Fox spouting the same old Trump bollocks to get him/herself some good PR.

There's a press conference from the Georgia DA starting now.

Just when you think he can't get any more retarded...

Former US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday (Aug 15) that he would release a detailed report next Monday on what he called "election fraud" in the state of Georgia in 2020.

"A Large, Complex, Detailed but Irrefutable REPORT on the Presidential Election Fraud which took place in Georgia is almost complete & will be presented by me at a major News Conference at 11:00 A.M. on Monday of next week in Bedminster, New Jersey," Trumpwrote on Tuesday.

"Based on the results of this CONCLUSIVE Report, all charges should be dropped against me & others - There will be a complete EXONERATION! They never went after those that Rigged the Election. They only went after those that fought to find the RIGGERS!" Trump declared."
    Can't wait

And rent boy's favourite Lindsay Graham clearly doesn't do irony...

During Monday’s broadcast of Jesse Watters’ Fox News show, Graham said Trump’s mounting legal woes were “unfair.” He claimed prosecutors were weaponizing the law and setting “a bad precedent,” and insisted the former president’s fate should be left to voters.
“The American people can decide whether they want him to be president or not,” said Graham, a fierce critic of Trump before his 2016 election win who became one of his most loyal allies. “This should be decided at the ballot box, not a bunch of liberal jurisdictions trying to put the man in jail.”

Obviously thinking about future pardon possibilities....

Aug. 15 (UPI) -- Mark Meadows, the former chief of staff to Donald Trump, filed a motion Tuesday seeking to move the criminal case against him as a co-conspirator of the former president from a state court in Georgia to federal court.
Meadows was named along with Trump and 17 other defendants in a sweeping organized crime indictment handed up by a grand jury in Fulton County, Ga., on Monday. He is the highest government official other than Trump charged in any of the current four cases against the former president.
He was charged under the state's Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations statute and with soliciting an official to violate their oath of office because of his presence on the infamous "find" votes call between Trump and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
Meadows has filed to move the case from the Fulton County Superior Court to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, court records obtained by UPI show.

Wouldn't it be a criminal offense to spend Campaign funds on legal fees?
