    The British Prime Minister - for as long as there is a Great Britain

    So the albino orangutan is on his way out or will be once the 1922 committee can prise his prehensile fingers off the £3,600 drinks trolley.

    A new Tory leader and Prime Minister will be announced soon and could be early August.

    Boris's legacy bills and here i don't mean the £200,000 No 10 flat refurb but the Northern Ireland Protocol Bill and the Rwandan Holiday scheme for channel swimmers could be struck off. There could be a softening of the stance wrt to the EU OR we could see another Brexiteer given the reigns - the leadership battle rests as much on pro/anti Brexit as it does the candidates stance on Taxation and the Cost Of Living crisis but all that is the future, so what of the now and the runners and riders for the 3pm Downing Street Stakes. Whoever crosses the finishing line first, this thread is for them and those that follow.

    Others tipped to be considering joining the race include former health secretary Sajid Javid, current Defence Secretary Ben Wallace, and former foreign secretary Jeremy Hunt

    A timetable for the Tory leadership race is due to be confirmed next week and the new prime minister is expected to be in position by September
