Trump's campaign website hacked on Tuesday
Credit
President Donald Trump's campaign website was hacked on Tuesday night to display an anti-Trump message.
"The world has had enough of the fake-news spreaded daily by president donald j trump", the hackers wrote.
The takeover lasted just half an hour, but it comes after a warning from US security officials of evidence that groups are trying to undermine the election. Campaign spokesperson Tim Murtaugh said that no data had been stolen and the site has been restored.
The messages on the website also claimed the poster had compromising information about the president and asked for donations to two Monero cryptocurrency accounts (cryptocurrency is a form of alternative online financial transaction that is difficult to track).
US election 2020 latest: Record-breaking early voting tops 70 million - BBC News
so, we're a week out from the election....a few predictions....
1. any non-manufactured 'october surprise' will likely only come from biden and/or his supporters. trump seems to have shot his wad on the hunter laptop nonsense, and so many dems have already voted early. any release of oppo-research on biden wouldn't have the maximum impact now...that time has come and gone. however, by and large, republicans vote in person on election day....and something scandalous about trump could keep his potential voters home instead of standing in ridiculously long lines....if forced to guess, i'd say it's something that would piss off evangelicals. maybe something about abortion.
and just to be clear, there still could be a 'surprise' that is not the work of dirty tricksters...for example, if biden were to get COVID.
2. popular vote:
biden by ~7 million...20%
biden by ~5 million...50%
biden by ~3-4 million 30%
trump wins popular vote.....0%
3. electoral college
biden 400+.....10%.....unlikely, but would love to see it as it would really send a message at home and abroad.
biden ~350....20%.....he'll have to win almost all of the swing states.
biden ~325...25%.....this is definitely possible, but far from a sure thing. i'm worried about polling errors.
biden ~300...35%....if the polling in accurate, this should be easily done.
trump 270-285....10%....everything needs to go his way....just like 2016, he'd again need to win by drawing on an inside straight. fuuuuuuccck.
4. the senate goes to the dems, but just barely....and not enough to enact a truly progressive agenda. let's say 52 seats for the dems.
whoa.
a just released ABC/washington post poll has biden up 17 in WI.
17.
something's not right about that.
I just want these last days to end. Anticipation is a bitch.
Hundreds of Trump supporters stuck in the cold for hours when buses can’t reach Omaha rally
By the time President Trump finished speaking to thousands of supporters at Omaha’s Eppley Airfield on Tuesday night and jetted away on Air Force One, the temperature had plunged to nearly freezing.
But as long lines of MAGA-clad attendees queued up for buses to take them to distant parking lots, it quickly became clear something was wrong.
The buses, the huge crowd soon learned, couldn’t navigate the jammed airport roads. For hours, attendees — including many elderly Trump supporters — stood in the cold, as police scrambled to help those most at-risk get to warmth.
At least seven people were taken to hospitals, according to Omaha Scanner, which monitors official radio traffic. Police and fire authorities didn’t immediately return messages from The Washington Post early Wednesday and declined to provide reporters on the scene with precise numbers of how many needed treatment.

Voted today. I was early and there was no wait time.
For the past week during different times of the day I would check my early voting stations to see which ones were busy. Most voting stations showed under a 30 minute wait time. The one I visited showed a wait time of under 15 minutes most of the time.
Anyway, I walked in the door and was pleasantly surprised to see the (Covid) safety precautions that were in place. To sign that you received your ballot they had disposable sticks for you (see below) and the pen they provided for you to fill out the ballot was in a jar and when finished they requested you toss it in a basket. Maybe to be cleaned and reused?
I think it took me more time to fill in the 20 plus blank ovals (on the ballot) than it took to receive my ballot after walking in the door.

Lot of this stuff out there predicting Trump will win in a land slide.. Trumpers are pretty much convinced Biden is going to get throttled.

Biden’s polling lead adds to market fears the economy will need to wait until next year for stimulus
Key Points
- Stocks were taking a beating Wednesday, in part over worry about the state of stimulus talks.
- Joe Biden’s polling lead in the presidential race complicates the issue.
- Investors worry that should the Democrat win, President Donald Trump would have little incentive to push through a deal in a lame duck period.
