I agree. I fail to see why it matters if a teleprompter is used or they refer to notes. The content and the delivery are the only parts of the speech that are important. Obama at least made some inspiring speeches as many Presidents before him have. Trump is Never likely to be remembered for anything other than drain the swamp. Certainly nothing of the calibre of someone like would be President RFK.

The final six years of his presidency was notable in that he managed to keep GOP excesses at bay, but little forward movement in improving life for regular folks.

I don't think Biden will move the needle whatsoever, but who knows if there's a Dem majority after November?

He could have steamrolled his policies, but didn't, thinking consensus was preferable . . . and too many of his Dem colleagues were chicken-shits to expand provisions in case it reflected negatively on them in upcoming elections. Two years . . . unfortunately got very little done except massively increase drone-killings of civilians. I like the guy, but there are no excuses for some things.
