obviously 6% offshore back in the day whilst the uk was offering 2% helped, but i never shafted the nhs, and i take great exception to the accusation.

i was a dedicated professional sacrificing my time, health and income whilst servicing the needs of financially and dentally challenged residents of every hue under the sun in some of the most deprived boroughs in london.

some private contracts in chelsea and westminster certainly pleased the pocket, but it wasnt dentistry that feathered my nest, although the nhs pension, index linked of course, just like your civil service pension, is most welcome. some canny investing in the markets, more luck than skill, and a timely purchase and sale of a koh samui hillside has certainly eased the discomfort of the brexit/pound devaluations.

living on a reduced income is nothing to get wound up about though, look on it as a challenge. necessity being the mother of invention and all that.

one can still live very cheaply in thailand, especially if one allows oneself to be guided by a wingperson not prone to extravagance, improvidence or profligacy.

anyway, the pound will rise by the end of the year, by which time i fully expect the baht will have also been devalued slightly.

Well the British crash is approaching ever nearer as my forecast for the further decline of £ sterling comes into sharper focus.

It is now $1.26 USD and 38.50 baht, a fall echoing the comments of the BoE which indicates that they will simply reduce rates and increase QE to counter the Brexit contamination instead of shielding the £ from further devaluation. They have made it clear now, £ will be devalued as policy. Inflation is now almost certain to hit 5% if the Ugly Sisters send Britain over the precipice of hard Brexit vying for pole position in the Tory Donkey Derby leadership stakes.

This is the response that will now guarantee $1.10 and 32-33 baht, which in any practical terms is tantamount to parity with the $ which currently hovers today around 31 baht.

Amazing the change in fortunes from the time in 2015 when the IMF, OECD and markets heaped praise on the UK for the way it had emerged from the 2008 crash and was leading the way to prudent recovery making the £ sterling almost a reserve currency in the world which saw it stabilised at 1.43 Euro and $1.57 and 54 baht.

This is what happens when you give power to the lower end, the stupid, the deluded and the profoundly ignorant.

Brokendownbrexitbritain, the Tory shitshow coming to a town near you.

Telling the pumped up Euro peacocks to get stuffed is also an option. Quite why seekingass needs to repeat his quibbles on a daily basis is beyond belief. Maybe he should get another comfort blanket of a pacifier to settle his eruptions.

If you have nothing new to say just STFU. Your bleating repeatedly won’t change anything, all your forecasts are barely lucid predictions, none of which have, or will come to fruition.

We know that nature abhors a vacuum, but that’s all there is until the new PM is elected. No need for you to try and fill it with nonsense.

Of course an option if Boris refuses to accept the current deal.

I am a bit confused so an honest question. Is this all supposed to end one way or the other Oct 31?

Not really. That is just a target for Boris. Someone needs to end the uncertainty one way or the other, and quickly.

The Euro elites want it to go on indefinitely. While it does, they have the advantage of UK membership payments and continue to use UK as an export market. Soon there will be no possibility to avoid the Euro, tax harmonization and immigration quotas decided by EC.

Not so bad for the UK but inescapable purgatory for the poor southern members. This is always glossed over by retainers, but the UK should stick up for the less able countries.

Looks like Hammond has been listening too much to The Gent. In his desperate last throw of the dice he's predicting a $90Bn black hole now with No Deal, i think the dark forces have been tampering with Phil's spreadheets, no place in the future cabinet for him there is.

Hammond knows he's getting sacked regardless if its Hunt or Boris who becomes PM. Terrible chancellor and probably Doris worst ever appointment.

He'll get a cushy job, failing to audit the EU accounts and turning a blind eye to French and Italian rule breakers

Why do you think the UK has to join the Euro? It is written into the Lisbon Treaty that the UK doesn't have to.

Fucking drivel. Euro elites, my fucking arse. " advantage of uk membership payments....", a fucking piddling £10 billion a year, in an annual budget of £150 billions which equates to 1% of combined EU wealth, do me a fucking favour.

You are two-bit chiselling no-hoper, small fry, also-rans.

The EU are already set up to fuck you off in October, the French, Belgians and Dutch are sorting out UK channels for you and the coons, the travel industry is gearing up to a UK registration for EU travel authorisation when you book and every time you land in an EU state you'll be clocked and the meter will start to run on your 90 days in a 6 month period limit of visits. Except for Ireland, you can settle there for free.

Sterling £ now 38.41 and falling.....tick,tok,tick,tok.........32 is waiting.

Even those poor exploited Greeks weren't that fucking stupid to leave, poor fuckers forced to buy all those BMWs and buy up those yachts posing as fucking fishing boats, you silly wanker.

    hold your horses cowboy!

of course there will be a deal. all the talk you are hearing from both sides is just chest thumping bluster, its just a bit more threatening now that the end game is fast approaching.

parliament will not let the uk crash out, there will be no proroguing and a deal will be reached, the pound will recover a bit, maybe more than a bit, the sky will not fall in and you will thankfully revert to your default mode and start posting about chickenheads and sausages again.

The WA deal was a good deal for Brits, and the EU conceded much in order to get it done. If it isn't ratified then there'll be no more sausages .........period.

The wingman and I will be moving bases and the squadron shall be operating in a different theatre.

    We're looking at Menorca.
