Everyone knows Boris lies and you have a remain parliament who will do all they can to stop us leaving especially with no deal. The Tories are going to lose another seat in the upcoming by election due to them fielding the same candidate who has been done for fiddling expenses so that will take their majority down to 1 or 2 and that's with DUP support and no doubt more Tories will jump ship if Boris wins. So most likely outcome is a general election but if Boris does survive to Oct 31 which i wouldn't bet on then I think we will be out.

a lot of assumptions here, but I have to admit it's going to be fun with Boris as PM

can't wait to see what kind of BS he is going to pull, and who will be screaming like little girls over the whole thing

What assumptions? The Tories will lose the by election, that's a fact, majority is down to 1 or 2 with DUP support, that's a fact. At least 2 Tories Grieve and Clarke have said they will bring down the government in the event Boris tries to push through no deal, that's a fact.

    he is lying, again

Boris Johnson in 'deal or no deal' Brexit challenge to rival Hunt
    https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-48756819

Boris Johnson has called on his Conservative leadership rival Jeremy Hunt to commit to leaving the EU on 31 October "deal or no deal".

Mr Johnson said the two men should agree that the revised Brexit deadline must be met "no matter what" in order to keep promises to the British people.

Mr Hunt has suggested he could seek extra time if he was close to getting a better deal but was not quite there.

The two are vying to succeed Theresa May, with the result due on 23 July.

The deadline for Brexit was pushed back to 31 October after MPs rejected the deal Mrs May agreed with the EU three times.

In an interview with Talk Radio, one of a series of media and public appearances, Mr Johnson said he would stick to that date "come what may, do or die".

I wonder what would happen to the 39b bill, apparently it's been signed into law, along with Doris deal

all approved by the EU27+1, so it's binding, no matter what

We are entering in a complete political void here, I think Boris should do it, just for the fuck of it, and sees what happens, legally and otherwise

    Go Hard Brexit, Go

even if BoJo don't ask for it, the UK will get an automatic deal extension of 2 years, as provisioned on Doris deal

    after that, it's another world

It hasn't been signed into law, this has been explained to you numerous times. It needs to be ratified by parliament which it has failed 3 times to become law.

nope, EU approved laws and directives supercede UK Parliament,

I thought otherwise too, but apparently it's not the case, Doris deal is already approved by the EU, and the UK is part of the EU

the question is what laws are going to replace those EU existing directives, hence the political declaration through the UK parliament to implement the deal

technically you could argue that without implementation, there is no deal. The truth is Doris already comitted to the deal, and everyone knows this.

Except Brexitteers and chavs of course

like all EU states, the EU approved legislation is de-facto the new law, the local parliaments are simply there to "accept" politically the deal

that's how we French got fucked over with the EU consitution,

now the more interesting question is why the press or anyone is not saying what it is,

that is Doris deal has been approved and is binding,

and you guys are simply fighting over rethoric and what laws are to be voted after the 2 years transition

oh, and the 39b does't cover everything, there is also other financial obligations not covered by the divorce bill

this keeps getting better and better,

Jeremy Hunt: Next PM 'must be trustworthy to avoid no Brexit'
    https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-48760055

Jeremy Hunt has said the next prime minister should be someone who is trustworthy, otherwise the UK risks a general election and no Brexit.

In an interview with the BBC, the foreign secretary said the ability to negotiate a new Brexit deal "is about the personality of the prime minister".

"I do believe I can be trusted to deliver this deal," he said.

Mr Hunt said he would leave the EU without a deal, but not if there was a "prospect of a better deal".

He and Boris Johnson are competing to take over from Theresa May, with the winner of the contest due to enter Number 10 on 24 July.
    'Who, not how'

In an interview with BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg, Mr Hunt said he and Mr Johnson both wanted to change the Brexit deal negotiated by Mrs May - and their aspirations for the substance of a new deal were similar.

But, he said: "The judgement is - who is the person we trust as prime minister to go to Brussels and bring back that deal?

"If you choose someone where there is no trust, there's going to be no negotiation, no deal and quite possibly a general election - which can mean we have no Brexit either."

Mrs May's deal has been rejected three times by MPs, but Mr Hunt said he believed that there was a better "deal to be done" with Brussels and he was the man to get it.

"We've had a lot of discussion about how, but we need to have more of a discussion about who."

It's horses for courses, BoJo is the right man for the job and only he can ensure the disaster of Brexit turns into a catastrophe with the added advantage of expediting the destruction of the Tory party.

He's getting my vote every time.

    The show must go on

Boris Johnson and Jeremy Hunt divided over Brexit plans
    https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-48767191

Tory leadership rivals Boris Johnson and Jeremy Hunt are at loggerheads over how the UK should leave the EU.

Both contenders for prime minister claim they can renegotiate a Brexit deal that the EU says is closed.

Mr Johnson said the UK must leave on 31 October "deal or no deal" but Mr Hunt called this a "fake deadline" that could trigger a general election if Parliament rejects a no-deal Brexit.

The winner of the contest will take over from Theresa May on 24 July.

In an interview with Talk Radio, Mr Johnson insisted he would take the UK out of the EU by Halloween "come what may, do or die" and has challenged his opponent to make the same commitment.

Mr Hunt said he would leave the EU without a deal, but not if there was a "prospect of a better deal".

nobody serious is believing in Brexit anymore, I think the EU27 know this already, and it's going to take a lot of work to sell this to the British public without too much damages,

the good news is that the British public is a gullible crowd and will believe anything they are being fed by their leaders,

British leaders are quite the masters of communication, despite their failings in everything else and their lack of competence and skills

The British electorate are essentially sheep. They are unsophisticated, credulous, ill-informed and poorly educated in the main. The three party system has been an excellent mechanism with which to shepherd them through their largely insignificant lives which are pretty much polarised between the artificial cultural difference that constitutes the Tory/Labour political landscape. This polarity is usually inherited from father to son and engendered by the press/media. In the normal course of things, nothing really matters very much and very little matters at all for very long but this time there has been a conjunction of influences which has precipitated an upheaval that has no benefit whatsoever but it is now firmly implanted in the mind of the average dozy Brexit Briton that to remain in the EU is to die.

Convincing a demented Amazonian pygmy out of his gourd on fermented armadillo semen that the moon is not a large frog would be easier than convincing a cretinous Brexiteer otherwise.

A significant proportion of Brits want the chaos of Brexit which they now believe has promised them a future laden with prizes and a wellbeing hitherto missing from their essentially insignificant and pointless little lives.

I actually now think this mass of human efflorescence is beginning to get excited by the prospect.

Fucking interesting actually and I'm beginning to enjoy the spectacle of a retard nation sticking a finger up its arse hoping to smell roses. Fuck knows what it expects to happen on 1st November but with this calibre of imbecility it could be anything from free cock extending cream or a year's supply of baked beans.

In the end, who gives a flying fuck about why an uneducated, retarded imbecile incapable of original thought living among a tribe of similarly afflicted knuckle draggers wants to take a shit in the fucking morning or the evening.

Why Brexit morons voted to fuck themselves up is really academic, they've done it and the rest of us are going to suffer.

    Nothing else to ponder.

As I said before, the greater majority of Brexit donkeys couldn't fucking spell Strasbourg, never mind point to it on the fucking map.
