Why hasn't the media, asked any of the people running for office . Why they do not support the proposed bill making English the Offical Languge?

Is it because the Hispanic illegals have that much power in the States, or is the so-called media a bunch of suck asses, or complete morons. Who are afraid to confront the stupid PC bullshit that seems to rule America.

A great example .. I stopped in N.Chicago at a McDonalds, for a burger. Surprise none of the employees could speak english.. I had to p[oint at the menu to order... they still screwed up the order.... guess what the so-called manager had very limited english skills... Greed rules !

It could be because of the large of numbers of not only Hispanics, but Hispanic illegals, and illegals from other parts of the world.

This is an election period, and since no urgency nor attention has been given, all candidates are safer not to address the issue at all.

After getting into office, perhaps the issue will be raised. It would take a Vote by both Congressional Houses.

I think making English as the official business and governmental is a good idea.

I agree about making English the official American language, but I've had good experiences with Mexican workers. The fast food restaurants in my city that hire white suburban kids or urban blacks screw up half of my orders. They forget f*ing napkins at the drive-thu! Even a squirrel could be trained to do that. The same fast food chains that hire Mexicans have much better service. Whatever one's views on immigration and official languages, Mexican workers are generally hard-working, polite and competent.
