I would also like to see Tammy Duckworth in the running.....born abroad, has a great record, a military veteran and I handicapped person, but I'm not sure about the rules for her being VP.

^No go. Same rules as President. Must be natural born American......possibly one day they will determine what that means, but not without going to court.
^^She is an American citizen by birth, but not native born as she was born in Thailand. It's a law that should not be on the books, but one that has not yet been challenged. Obama was born of one American parent, but in the US.
But Obama was born in the US.
Yeah, cool insofar as those qualities go in a race against Trump and the spectator sport it would provide, but is she really presidential material? I don't think so. Fighting for your country and losing your legs is just as emotive and grandstand-worthy as Trump's CV of being rich and a TV personality.
Sure it may get her the votes, but is she president material???
^^As I said, it's an antiquated law no longer relevant. But, it's still out there. As you said, it will take the Supreme Court to finally make a ruling. And that is long overdue.
Even stranger is that the cause of a person's birth abroad is deemed to be irrelevant. My sister was born in France while my father was a US Army officer on active duty there with an American wife. Even though he was serving abroad on USG orders, rule still applies. Thus my kids, born in the Philippines while I was on USG assignment, are also ineligible.

there are only two types of US citizens.....natural born and naturalized.
tammy duckworth, ted cruz, your sister, your kids....all natural born.
^there are 4 or 5 categories of citizenship
Another brain dead Trumpanzee
Oprah could be a serious candidate
POTUS what else,
The trouble is happy, is that he's absolutely spot on with that one...with the possible exception, in my lifetime, of JFK. My internal jury is still out on that one. The widely held perception and the reality of JFK might have been two different things. In his favor, he was trouble enough that he was taken out with extreme prejudice.

Ambassador Kennedy got $1 million for the Kennedy campaign coffers from the Chicago Mob, and made his deal for an election day steal. After Bobby Kennedy became Attorney General and began pressing for the deportation of Trafficante, Giancana contacted Ambassador Kennedy. Kennedy demanded 50% of the action of the Cal-Neva Casino in Lake Tahoe, Nevada to keep up his side of the earlier bargain. Fifty percent of the share in Cal-Neva were transferred to singer, Morton Downey, Sr., a crony and straw man for Joe Kennedy.
Maybe strike Kennedy from your list of good guys. Go back a little further.
