To quote your article and you really need to learn to cut and paste text only and not just an entire article BTW.

“Because, in his view, the solutions are obvious, whether it’s tax cuts and tax reform, healthcare, infrastructure programmes, strengthening our military. To him, these all seem like obvious things that need to be done to protect the American people, bring jobs back.”
In his view. The view of a confirmed moron with a low IQ. The solutions he wants would raise taxes on the middle class adding trillions to the debt while enriching the .01% and adding no fucking jobs to the economy, throw 26 million Americans off healthcare killing thousands, encourage private investment in toll roads forcing citizens to have to pay to commute to work everyday to use roads further lining the pockets of the rich, throwing more money at a military that already gobbles up more then the next ten nations combined, on and on yet this dimwit this numpty thinks these are obvious things that need to be done to protect the American people and bring jobs back.

Sadly most of his base will think that is true as usual shooting themselves in the face once again.

Once the oligarchs convinced the white working class in America that unions were bad the game was lost to the wealthy.

    Fuck me. America is fucked.

Trump finally comments on soldier deaths in Niger; falsely knocks Obama over his responses to dead soldiers

Breaking his public silence about four American soldiers killed during an ambush in Niger, President Donald Trump said Monday he'd penned personal letters to their families and planned to phone them later this week.

He also claimed, without merit, that his predecessors hadn't written or called the families of slain American troops during their tenures, though the tradition of presidents reaching out after US servicemen are killed in action is long-established.

Trump said he'd written the letters over the weekend, and suggested they'd be mailed early this week. He was speaking 12 days after the ambush -- the deadliest combat incident since he took office.

"I felt very, very badly about that," Trump said during a press availability in the Rose Garden. "I always feel badly. It is the toughest calls I have to make are the calls where this happens, soldiers are killed."

He then claimed that other commanders in chief hadn't reached out to families of Americans killed in action, indicating he'd been told as much by the generals who serve in his administration.

"All I can do is ask my generals," Trump said. "Other presidents did not call, they would write letters, and some presidents didn't do anything."

"I like, when I can, the combination of a call and also a letter," he said.

Barack Obama, during his term in office, wrote letters and made calls to families of killed Americans, according to former administration officials. He also made frequent visits to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to spend time with wounded troops.

George W. Bush also wrote letters to families of troops killed in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, which began during his tenure.

When pressed about his assertion, Trump backtracked slightly.

"I don't know if he did," he said of Obama. "I was told that he didn't often, and a lot of presidents don't. They write letters. I do, I do a combination of both."

Trump's remarks Monday marked the first time he's commented at all -- in person or on Twitter -- about the Green Berets and US support personnel who were slain around the October 4 raid. The White House press secretary said previously the administration was still reviewing the circumstances around the mission.

"It is a very difficult thing," Trump said. "It gets to a point where you make four to five of them in one day, it is a very, very tough day."

Officials briefed on the Niger raid have described to CNN a scene of confusion and uncertainty in the immediate aftermath of the incident. Troops were left for nearly an hour before help could arrive to the remote area they were operating.

The White House has said little about Trump's involvement in the proceedings, and he did not travel to Dover Air Force Base for the return of the soldiers' bodies to the United States.

The brother of one of the men killed said on Monday that hearing from Trump was not high on his list of priorities.

"It's been the furthest thing from my mind and the minds of my family," said Will Wright, the brother of Staff Sgt. Dustin Wright, adding he bore no ill-will toward Trump.

After Trump's remarks on Monday, former Obama officials and other Democrats sharply criticized his remarks about his predecessors, calling them insensitive.

"The commander in chief told a totally irresponsible and disgusting lie in the Rose Garden today, claiming past presidents did not call the families of fallen servicemembers," said a spokesman for the Democratic National Committee, Brian Gabriel. "Trump's jaw-dropping, disrespectful lie is not based anywhere in reality and is another symptom of a deep-seated obsession with tearing down President Obama."

Responding to the backlash, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders insisted that Trump wasn't intending to criticize former commanders in chief

"The President wasn't criticizing predecessors, but stating a fact," Sanders said in a statement. "When American heroes make the ultimate sacrifice, Presidents pay their respects. Sometimes they call, sometimes they send a letter, other times they have the opportunity to meet family members in person."

"This President, like his predecessors, has done each of these," Sanders went on. "Individuals claiming former Presidents, such as their bosses, called each family of the fallen, are mistaken.

sure, one can eat up the daily dose of hate-filled mainstream media reports about trump.

but, trump's disapproval rating was 61% when he beat hillary (think about that everytime the media mentions how unpopular he is).

all of the whining by hillary and mainstream media simply reinforces the beliefs of those who put trump into office.

he's already made the social conservatives happy by who he appointed to the supreme court and his use of deregulation and hopefully a tax cut bill by next year will ensure that the economy is humming along (like it hasn't in decades) by the time 2020 comes along and there won't be any reason for those who put trump into office to not be happy with their choice for a second time.

Trump has a good reason to resign now. His fortune is slipping away while he is President and he needs to spend time building it back up. Hope Trump reads Forbes!

Forbes: Trump's Net Worth Declined by $600 Million in Past Year

U.S. President Donald Trump's net worth declined by some $600 million to $3.1 billion in the past year, according to Forbes magazine.

The biggest contributing factor to Trump's declining fortune was his real estate holdings, much of which is in New York City. Several of his Manhattan properties have declined in value, reducing his fortune in this sector by nearly $400 million.

Some of Trump's golf properties overseas and in the United States also have declined in value, the apparent result of potential guests being offended by Trump's politics and bluster, Forbes reported.

The presidential campaign also contributed to a decline in Trump's net worth. His cash holdings were reduced to about $100 million since last year after he spent $66 million on his campaign.

The reduction in Trump's cash holdings also was the result of a $25 million payment Trump made to settle a lawsuit over Trump University.

Forbes said it calculated Trump's net worth "after months of digging through financial disclosures and public property records and conducting dozens of interviews."

Forbes now ranks Trump as the 248th richest person in the U.S., down from 156 in 2016.

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates topped the list of wealthiest Americans for the 24th consecutive year with a net worth of $89 billion. Amazon's Jeff Bezos came in number two with a net worth of $81.5 billion.

Trump to widow of Sgt. La David Johnson: 'He knew what he signed up for'

MIAMI-DADE, Fla. - U.S. President Donald Trump told U.S. Army Sgt. La David Johnson's widow Tuesday that "he knew what he signed up for ...but when it happens it hurts anyway," when he died serving in northwestern Africa, according to Rep. Frederica Wilson, D-Miami Gardens.

"Yes, he said it," Wilson said. "It's so insensitive. He should have not have said that. He shouldn't have said it."

Trump: 'Ask General Kelly' if Obama called after son died in Afghanistan

Donald Trump on Tuesday doubled down on his claim that Barack Obama did not routinely call the families of servicemen and women killed in battle. He also warned John McCain, a decorated war hero with whom he has clashed before, that he might “fight back” after the senator said America’s “leadership and ideals are absent”.

Regarding Obama’s contacts with the families of fallen troops, Trump directed inquiries to his chief of staff. John Kelly’s son, like the retired general a US marine, died in Afghanistan in 2010.
“I think I’ve called every family of someone who’s died,” Trump told Brian Kilmeade of Fox News Radio. “As far as other representatives, I don’t know. You could ask General Kelly, did he get a call from Obama?”
A White House official told the Associated Press Obama did not call Kelly. The official did not immediately respond to questions about whether the former president reached out in another fashion.
The AP also reported, however, that White House visitor records showed Kelly attended a breakfast Obama hosted for Gold Star families six months after his son died. A person familiar with the breakfast – speaking on condition of anonymity because the event was private – said the Kelly family sat at Michelle Obama’s table.
Obama aides said it was difficult to determine whether he had also called Kelly, and when. But the former Obama spokesman Ned Price reacted angrily to Trump’s comments.
“Kelly, a man of honor & decency, should stop this inane cruelty,” Price tweeted. “He saw up-close just how – & how much – Obama cared for the fallen’s families.”

Trump first made the claim in a press conference in the White House Rose Garden on Monday, when he was asked why he had not yet commented publicly about four special forces soldiers
who were killed in Niger last week.

“If you look at President Obama and other presidents, most of them didn’t make calls,” Trump said. “A lot of them didn’t make calls. I like to call when it’s appropriate.”
Pressed, he softened his claim a little. “President Obama, I think, probably did sometimes, and maybe sometimes he didn’t,” he said. “I don’t know. That’s what I was told. Other presidents did not call, they’d write letters. And some presidents didn’t do anything.”
Former Obama aides were quick to criticise Trump. Eric Holder, one of Obama’s attorneys general, said on Twitter: “Stop the damn lying – you’re the president.” Alyssa Mastromonaco, Obama’s former deputy chief of staff, responded strongly. She wrote: “That’s a fucking lie. To say President Obama (or past presidents) didn’t call the family members of soldiers KIA – he’s a deranged animal.”
The former White House press secretary Josh Earnest, now an MSNBC commentator, told the network past Republican and Democratic presidents had recognized their duty to honor soldiers’ sacrifices and not highlight their own actions.
“Unfortunately, President Trump seems incapable of actually doing that,” he said.
Reaction was also strong among some family members of deceased servicemen:

The San Antonio Spurs basketball coach, Gregg Popovich, who is an air force veteran, also criticised Trump, telling reporters: “His comments today about those who have lost loved ones in times of war and his lies that previous presidents Obama and Bush never contacted their families are so beyond the pale, I almost don’t have the words.”
Popovich added: “This man in the Oval Office is a soulless coward who thinks that he can only become large by belittling others.”
The White House press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, said Trump “wasn’t criticizing predecessors but stating a fact”, and argued that presidents did not always call families of those killed in battle.
“Sometimes they call, sometimes they send a letter, other times they have the opportunity to meet family members in person,” she said, adding that anyone claiming a former president had called every family was “mistaken”.
A spokesperson for George W Bush said he had called, written and visited the families of soldiers killed in wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Trump seemed to issue a threat to McCain in a separate radio interview on Tuesday, with Chris Plante of WMAL DC.
McCain, an Arizona senator, former Republican presidential candidate and decorated Vietnam veteran, was recently diagnosed with brain cancer but returned to Washington to
vote against healthcare bills backed by the Trump White House.
He did not mention the president by name in a speech made as he
received the Liberty Medal on Monday. But he did condemn “half-baked, spurious nationalism” and warned that the US “will not thrive in a world where our leadership and ideals are absent”.
After agreeing that McCain was “taking shots”, Trump told Plante: “People have to be careful because I fight back. I’m being very nice, very nice, but at some point I will fight back and it won’t be pretty.”
Trump first attacked McCain during the Republican presidential primary in 2015, questioning
whether he was really a war hero given that he was captured – and tortured – by the North Vietnamese.
    Trump received
five deferments from service during the Vietnam war, four for academic reasons and one on health grounds, for bone spurs in his heels.
McCain appeared untroubled by Trump’s threat. “It’s fine with me,” he said on Tuesday. “I’ve faced some fairly significant adversaries in the past.”

“We have a pathological liar in the White House, unfit intellectually, emotionally, and psychologically to hold this office, and the whole world knows it, especially those around him every day"

Gregg Popovich calls Donald Trump a 'soulless coward' after Obama comments

regg Popovich sa Trump is ‘a soulless coward who thinks that he can only become large by belittling others’.

    Guardian sport
    Tuesday 17 October 2017 12.53 BSTLast modified on Tuesday 17 October 2017 13.09 BST

On the opening day of the NBA season the
San Antonio Spurs coach, Gregg Popovich, has launched his latest broadside at Donald Trump.
Popovich, who has won five NBA championships with the Spurs, was incensed after the US president falsely claimed Barack Obama and other presidents
didn’t contact the families of soldiers killed in action. Popovich, is an air force veteran and considered a career with the CIA before committing to basketball.
Trump’s comments came after the deaths of US servicemen in Niger, and Popovich was angry enough to contact the Nation’s Dave Zirin to go on the record about the subject. Zirin is known for his coverage of sports and social issues.

What can the NFL learn from the NBA about Donald Trump?

“I’ve been amazed and disappointed by so much of what this president had said, and his approach to running this country, which seems to be one of just a never-ending divisiveness,”
Popovich told Zirin. “But his comments today about those who have lost loved ones in times of war and his lies that previous presidents Obama and Bush never contacted their families are so beyond the pale, I almost don’t have the words.”
Popovich also spoke of his contempt for Trump’s inner circle.“This man in the Oval Office is a soulless coward who thinks that he can only become large by belittling others. This has of course been a common practice of his, but to do it in this manner– and to lie about how previous presidents responded to the deaths of soldiers – is as low as it gets,” Popovich added“We have a pathological liar in the White House, unfit intellectually, emotionally, and psychologically to hold this office, and the whole world knows it, especially those around him every day. The people who work with this president should be ashamed, because they know better than anyone just how unfit he is, and yet they choose to do nothing about it.”
Popovich has been a constant critic of the US president. In May he was asked if he was ever distracted by events outside sports. While he did not mention Trump by name, it was clear to whom he was referring.

“It’s interesting you would ask that,” Popovich said at the time. “Usually things happen in the world, and you go to work, you know, and you’ve got your family and you’ve got your friends and you do what you do, but to this day I feel like there’s a cloud, a pall over the whole country – in a paranoid, surreal sort of way.
“It’s got nothing to do with the Democrats losing the election. It’s got to do with the way one individual conducts himself. And that’s embarrassing, it’s dangerous to our institutions and what we all stand for, what we expect the country to be. But for this individual, he’s in a gameshow. And everything that happens begins and ends with him – not our people or our country. Every time he talks about those things, that’s just a ruse. That’s just disingenuous, cynical and fake.”
Other NBA players and coaches have been critical of Trump. LeBron James has called the president “a bum”, while the coach of the NBA champion Golden State Warriors, Steve Kerr,
said Trump’s election was a blow for “respect and dignity”.
