US-led airstrikes 'kill 52 civilians in northern Syria'
"Beirut (AFP) - US-led strikes targeting the Islamic State group killed at least 52 civilians in northern Syria, a monitor said Saturday, but the Pentagon said it could not confirm the report.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitor also reported deadly violence elsewhere in Syria, including a rebel rocket attack Saturday that killed 15 civilians and wounded dozens in Aleppo.
Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman told AFP that US-led coalition strikes early Friday on the village of Birmahle in Aleppo province killed 52 civilians.
He said seven children were among the dead but that the toll could rise as rescuers were battling to save 13 people trapped under rubble.
Kurdish militiamen and Syrian rebel fighters were clashing with IS jihadists in a town roughly two kilometres (one mile) away from Birmahle at the time of the strikes.
"Not a single IS fighter" was killed in the strikes on Birmahle, said Abdel Rahman, adding that the village is inhabited by civilians only with no IS presence.
US Central Command spokesman Colonel Patrick Ryder told AFP there was "no information to corroborate allegations that coalition air strikes resulted in civilian casualties".
"Regardless, we take all allegations seriously and will look into them further," he added."
And the Yemenis are also being murdered:
"Sanaa, Yemen (CNN)A series of Saudi airstrikes hit a hospital and medical camp in southwestern Yemen on Friday, killing at least 58 civilians and injuring at least 67, two local Yemeni government officials said.
Most of the dead and injured were medics and patients, they said.
Raheda Hospital is one of the largest and busiest in the area. The medical camp is part of the hospital.
Both are in Saqee Dam, a small town outside the city of Taiz in Taiz Province. Houthis have been clashing in Taiz for more than a month with forces loyal to President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi.
Three local Yemeni government officials said the hospital was not being used by Houthi rebels and that none of the dead was a rebel fighter."

Yemen crisis: Terrified citizens caught between Saudi Arabia and Iran as air strikes and blockade threaten humanitarian disaster for millions - Middle East - World - The Independent
"Aid agencies say that the Saudi air and sea blockade is preventing Yemen from importing food on which it is wholly reliant. This includes some 90 per cent of the wheat consumed in Yemen and other essentials. Hospitals are closing because they have no fuel for generators"
" Indeed, the beginning of the Saudi air war five weeks ago put a stop to negotiations which were about to succeed in establishing a power sharing government in the capital Sanaa according to the UN envoy Jamal Benomar. He told The Wall Street Journal in an interview that “when this campaign started, one thing that was significant but went unnoticed is that the Yemenis were close to a deal that would institute power-sharing with all sides, including the Houthis."
Why Saudis Derailed Imminent Yemen Deal with Airstrikes
"my main source of course was Jamal Benomar, who until today was the UN's Special Representative in Yemen since four years ago, and his job was to bring the parties together to try to work out a deal that would lead to a unity government. And he had everyone on board on all points, he says, except for one point which was the role of the presidency in the transition going forward.
Well, publicly they're saying they want to restore Hadi as the president, and that they are trying to curb Iranian influence in Yemen. Now, the Houthis are Zaydi sect of Shiism, but it's a different sect than the Iranian Shiites. The Houthi movement began in the early '90s, and they didn't receive any aid or any connection really with Iran until five years ago, 2010. And even the U.S. government does not believe that Iran has overwhelming influence in Yemen. And diplomats I spoke to are not--I can't name, also say that Houthis were not agents of the Iranians and that their influence is limited there.
Well, these diplomats told me that they believe they didn't, that they were afraid, the Saudis, of a successful negotiation that would bring about a progressive and democratic government in their backyard. This government--and the deal called for, for example, 30 percent of the cabinet posts, 30 percent of parliament going to women. Now, in Saudi Arabia women can't even drive. But--and they were of course, the Houthis, who are 30 percent of the country, or the Zaydi Shiites, 30 percent of the country, would necessarily get about 30 percent of power of the government. Not 50 percent, they were not going to rule. They did not expect to be the rulers of Yemen, they know they cannot control the entire country. They are not strong enough. So they were willing to take 30 percent, according to Benomar."
A humanitarian disaster has evolved to enable the new Saudi King to show his muscle. Helped along by the POTUS.

http://rt.com/news/255233-saudi-yemen-cluster-bombs/
"The Saudi Arabia-led coalition is using US-supplied cluster munitions in its airstrikes on Houthi forces in Yemen, Human Rights Watch reported. Targets include those close to villages, posing a threat from undetonated submunitions to civilians. In recent weeks the coalition has used cluster bombs in Yemen’s northern Saada governorate, a region bordering Saudi Ararbia, which is historically controlled by the rebels, HRW said.
“These weapons should never be used under any circumstances. Saudi Arabia and other coalition members – and the supplier, the US – are flouting the global standard that rejects cluster munitions because of their long-term threat to civilians,” said Steve Goose, arms director at Human Rights Watch."
Next week white phosphorus shells?
So the US is not a signatory to any treaty outlawing the use of cluster bombs ? Why am I not surprised ?
It makes other crimes pale in comparison, doesn't it ? Knowingly making, supplying and/or using bombs which not only kill civilians years after the war has ended, but are attractive to CHILDREN.
Psychopaths : please cease and desist your efforts in US schools and other places. The cluster bomb manufacturers are the REAL enemy.
Heaping internet abuse on ISIS seems to be the latest way to fight them.
Social Media Mock Bizarre Islamic State Reports
CAIRO—
In an online “Isis Bloopers” video, a “terrorist” bungles his lines until his “victim”- dressed in orange prison gear - helps him get his speech to U.S. President Barack Obama just right.
“If you want the killing to stop, you give us $10 million, change your name to Mohammad and kill Justin Bieber,” the actor playing the terrorist says.
The video may be offensive to some, making light of recent brutal public murders; but, for others, taunting the self-proclaimed Islamic State is a direct attack on the militant group. And as reports from the “inside” grow increasingly bizarre, some analysts say mockery is now a powerful weapon of war.

^Lets hope it is more effective than what the bombs, missiles, trainers, medical care, misplaced supply drops and "intelligence" the current UK/US/ME leaders are utilising at the moment.
Maybe if they stopped all the above the the Iraqi and Syrian government forces would have an easier time wiping them off the face of the earth.
Lets hope the "actors" don't start being "suicided" similar to the opposition politicians in the Ukraine are.
FBI Has ‘Interesting’ Reaction to ISIS Death Threats Against Woman for Muhammad Cartoon Contest
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5fHglQA4Ao
The organizer of last weekend’s “Draw Muhammad” contest in Garland, Texas, is still waiting to find out if the FBI will provide her with protection following the attack.
Pamela Geller told Fox News’ Sean Hannity that neither the Federal Bureau of Investigations or the Department of Homeland Security have yet to respond to her requests, now that she’s officially a target of the Islamic State.
She said:
“They have not contacted me. But of course, we’ve now increased my team. I have a team now, private security. And NYPD counterterror has been in touch with me. And so, yes, we’ll all be working together.
“…And the FBI — President Obama should provide security. There’s just no question about it. Because he created an environment that raised the stakes on this.”
Two gunmen supporting ISIS fired shots outside of Geller’s event last Sunday, injuring a security guard. Both gunmen were killed on the scene."
FBI Has ?Interesting? Reaction to ISIS Death Threats Against Woman for Muhammad Cartoon Contest
It's almost as if Obma-'meh's' Justice Department wants Pamela Geller to be silenced - with extreme prejudice, eh?
Back to you...:chitown:
^ Doesn't she always carry a couple of loaded weapons to protect herself?
Well, if she's 'packing', and she has an "increased" private security team, and the NYPD counterterror dudes have been in touch with her and they are all "working together", why is she whinging that the FBI isn't providing her with protection? She seems like a bit of an attention seeker to me.
She might want to question the FBI's role in the shooting prior to requesting any assistance from them.
A bit??? This seems her mantraQuote:

Geert Wilders has her back:
“I Will Push the Pedal a Little Further Down”
"When he arrived home last week after being in Texas during the terror attack, the PVV leader Geert Wilders told the Dutch media that the events in Garland had made him even more determined to continue his push against Islamization."
THE HAGUE — Geert Wilders has announced he will continue his struggle against Islam rigorously and with extra passion. “I will push the pedal a little further down,” he says in response to the failed attack in the United States, where he was in attendance at a meeting where Mohammed cartoons were exhibited.
The PVV leader was the main speaker in Garland, and had left the building just before the two gunmen tried to enter. They were shot dead by police.
Wilders, now back in the Netherlands, does not think the two perpetrators were after him in the first place.
He does not need extra security, he says, because it is already optimal. Wilders wants to propagate his anti-Islam message with more dedication, as he emphasized in an interview with De Telegraaf."

"Think about it. These guys had to know the event would be guarded. These guys had to know that the event is going on in Texas, meaning that a lot of attendees and passers-by would be armed. Heck it's Texas. Everybody's armed. The former governor, Rick Perry, shot a coyote while jogging."
