^Ignore the comment. It's simply one of his daily dozens of totally incomprehensible, meaningless posts which clutter up threads throughout the forum, adding nothing.

Please give an opinion, if you have one, and the reasons to support your position.

Supposedly two of the officers had body cameras which may provide what heightened the response to a shooting once provided.

Additionally, some interesting details have been released about the man who was shot (though how unfortunate that might sound as a life was taken).

Trouble is police are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't, NY just recently, cops jumped on the big fat black guy and he died.
Cries of police brutality and excessive force, batons don't really subdue nutters or drunks/junkies, video of cops standing around hitting a guy with batons yelling face down, look worse.
Gas and tazers are not always effective, then you have that little thing called health and safety. Don't know the US rules, BobR may, but UK, OZ, you are not allowed to put yourself in a position of danger, break the rules and you may fine yourself without compensation should you sustain a serious injury.

Are you guys sure he didn't manage to grab a gun off one of the officers?
if that's the case, can I change my mind? (like a girly)

that's the only way it would vindicate the use of deadly force.
hey, maybe it was national 'kill a nigga day' or something?

Rubbish. Nobody's forcing them to be cops. If they can't handle the job, well the options are the same as any job.

Sick of cops acting like gods, worldwide, then crying into their fuckin tissues about their tough life.

They serve and protect only themselves, by and large, these days. Is it a mystery as to why they are reviled on such a wide scale?

Do you have a job, do you follow the rules of your employment, or do you disregard health and safety and do as you think fit.
Police, firemen ambos all do just a job, as do oil workers etc do as told or join the unemployment line.
If you don't like your police, do something about it, stand up and be heard, make a difference, keyboard warriors don't pull much weight.

James you speak of safety, the three cops that were shooting, did they think of the safety of the two cops in the line of fire.

That incident shows the lack of discipline and training.

On average its takes 21 weeks to train a cop, and they let these psycho's out to protect the public.

This guy was violent, resisiting and close to 4-5 guns (in the officers' holster) which is a very dangerous situation.

This guy robbed a bank and pistol whipped a bank employee.

Should he have been out on the streets to begin with?

Should you take the time, to watch you own vid posted you will find that the cops shot him in the back.

I really can't see how the guy was going for there holsters, if your being forcibly turned, your arms are being either restrained by the ground or one of the 5 cops.

For three to shoot at the same time, they must of discussed it .

Utter rubbish . . . they are not damned if they don't shoot to kill.

The fat guy was unarmed, not committing a crime and telling the cops he couldn't breathe until he ran out of breath and died.

    Fuckers should be jailed

    ^Agree with you bro!

Most of the time the police act responsibly using reasonable force - given the situation, etc.. but these types of cases are becoming ever more frequent it seems.

I still love America though (even though I am a Kiwi) most of them are decent people in my experience. *I'm drunk, hope that makes sense - been a hard week.
