    The Rohingya problem

hope this don't sound like Adolf ..but
Thailand seems to think that Australia should help solve their Rohingya "problem".
Okay we all empathize with displaced peoples..be it Indian/African lower castes or ..
If Thailand requests and accepts Australia's help ..what is the quit pro quo??..It is politics after all.
Methinks the AEC should be like the EEC free passage "without let or hindrance"..ie visa exempt status for Australians..okay ...... I must be dreemin'?

I'd think if Aus. is concerned about these people then take them into Aus. Otherwise STFU.

^Of course, but then if yer gonna cry about mistreatment of some nationals in far away lands, you better be ready to open the doors for their impending arrival.

Oz could use some cheap farm labor no doubt?

Latest news threads say that Aus. is offering "significant investor visas," for those foreigner's willing to show the Aus. Government $1 million or more depending on the circumstances of the applicant. Over 150 of these Visas have been submitted to date with most being by Chinese millionaires. Seems everythings for sale in Aus.?
