No argument there.
Do you think the Hilary camp started off hoping Trump would get the nomination because they believed Clinton would beat him comfortably?
Or have they always dreaded Donald?

You see that speaks volumes.Quote:

Look at Bush; Trump played with him like an orca plays with a seal before eating it. Jeb had to bring in his mum and then (symbolically) his big brother as well on his home turf, thinking he would be safe now.
Trump gave them both the political equivalent of atomic wedgies and sent them packing with a kick up the arse.
He's definitely going to be dismissive of anything she has to stay.Quote:

I don't think she's got too much to worry about on any head to head with Trumpf.

It will all boil down to whether the voters like a tough, no holds barred debater, or a repeat of what they have heard for the last 50 years from politicians. It would be a tough bet to place in Las Vegas as to who will win that debate when, and if, it happens.
Speaking of which...
It's things like this which are why Trump will be eviscerated on the national debate stage for President.Quote:
Oops – Donald Trump retweeted a quote from the founder of fascism

Donald Trump retweeted the quote from Mussolini
Donald Trump maybe went a little bit too far with that last retweet.
It turns out that the Republican frontrunner retweeted the quote from a fake account set up with lines from Italian dictator Benito Mussolini.

Trump tweet
After a furore about the tweet, which read: “It is better to live one day as a lion than 100 years as a sheep,” it has been revealed that Trump was set up.
News site Gawker set up a fake account called ‘ilduce2016’, named after Mussolini’s dictatorship until 1943.
The site claimed responsibility for the Twitter account on Sunday, revealing it created the “Mussolini-quoting Twitter bot to see if @realDonaldTrump was dumb enough to re-tweet it.”
It turns out he did.
Gawker says it created the account last year to answer the question “Is Donald Trump a fascist?”
Social media wouldn’t let Trump get away with the retweet with many taking to Twitter to ridicule him for the embarrassment.

Mr Trump told Fox News he would likely back a plot to overturn equal marriage, just days beforetelling the lesbian journalist he would “move forward” on LGBT rights.
When challenged on the contradiction in a third interview, Mr Trump attempted to maintain both contradicting views simultaneously.
He promised evangelicals last week: “I think [evangelicals] can trust me on traditional marriage.”
Not so much the tweet faux pas but when he's called to task over his incoherent and inconsistent statements.
At that point simply ignoring questions about things like how he intends to balance and pay for a $10 trillion tax plan or abusing reporters or threatening to punch people won't cut it.
The German High Command had a rep for getting things done.
Or even the consistent and coherent ones like bringing back waterboarding and worse and abolishing the Department of Education.Quote:

Yep, those too.
I really don't buy into this whole Trump the Master Debater mythology (unless those last two words are contracted :D).
If he gets the nomination - likely by the looks - all those things are going to come back to haunt him. It's partly why the GOP establishment doesn't want him to achieve the nomination in the first place. They know that the Dems will pounce on every single one of his shady utterances and dealings.
Couple that to his less than conservative conservatives credentials and even the Jesus Wheezers may struggle to find him palatable.
Well he was certainly flustered and on the defense when Rubio took him on in the last debate. He will come apart if he is challeged on his dubious past. Hillary has had a lot of practice answering her adversaries attacks and hitting back hard.Quote:

True, but that is not generally what they are most remembered for so even if the 11:15 express from Munich to Belsen was never late that is kind of beside the point...Quote:

That isn't debate, it's Fox News, it's what Bill O'Reilly does when a guest is making him look stupid.
In a Presidential Debate, and I have to say it looks like it's going to be Trump vs Clinton, it's going to boil down to the hard questions, and if his answer on the Nuclear Triad is anything to go by, he's fucked.
He just looked like someone speaking any old words until he could think of something to say.
He looked even more stupid than he does already.
The trouble is, poorly educated people are too stupid to realise it.
That's why he loves them.

Anyone but Hillary.
I support Trump.
Of course you do, Snaffy. No surprises there.
I concur - sloganeering & gainsaying are not debating, and loving everything is not really a rational basis for the development of coherent policies. The Donald's nomination as the Republican candidate is not a certainty, even if he does win the most delegates. The RNC will still have to ratify it, and that is by no means a rubber stamp exercise. He could end up running as an independent, which would merely result in the Republican vote being split in the general election. As it is, Rubio & Cruz are only succeeding in splitting the opposition to the Donald.Quote:

This election is certainly becoming quite the Twit, Twat, and Chump festival.
Hillary the twat. Trump the chump, and all us twits who watch!
Fucking hilarious.

Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders could easy beat Donald Trump come November, according to a new CNN/ORC poll that pits the Republican front runner against his potential Democratic opponents.
Clinton would beat Trump 52 to 44 percent among registered voters—an improvement of her odds since the last CNN/ORC Poll in January—while Sanders would top Trump 57 to 40 percent.
Trumps a loser.
Oh my.
Oh my, my, my.
^ &^^ Duke Nuk'em and Gayboy Lubio beat her, you should unnerved by that, anyway Trump is trouncing both of them; these hypothetical match-ups will mean more once the nominations are completed. He has got high unfavourables, so its hardly unexpected, and its partly due to the nature of the nomination process; she should be having a much easier time, and she is detested already.
You see how Sanders dominates everyone? I would only be concerned if he got the nomination.
In the meantime sit back and enjoy the Trumpening. :chitown:

The simple truth is that no one on these boards will know whether their personal judgement as to who should be POTUS is right or wrong , this can only be really judged 4 years down the line as to to what state the US economy is in .:) I mean in politics just the same as everything else in life action speaks louder than words , its OK to promise the moon to get elected , however delivering it is quite a different story .
After last night, our next president Mrs. Clinton is about half way there.
what’s to come,….
watching the republican party self-destruct couldn’t be nicer
President Hillary Clinton
Should be a landslide victory for Mrs. Clinton/Democrats/America come November.
^ yeah a war mongering shill with a philandering sexual predator of a husband against a successful businessman with a beautiful loving well educated wife, let's see buddy.
