That's the rub of it. If I have an opinion on something I want it to be correct (naturally enough). Therefore I check to make sure there are facts to back it up. Doubly so if I read something that does actually accord with an opinion - I check to see that it's at least legitimate. That's not to say that I'm never wrong/always right just that if I am wrong it's because of a misunderstanding or mistake on my part.

I really want Trump to win, but I have a great deal of respect for Bernie, he is absolutely fantastic too, if Trump wasn't in the race I would be rooting for him 100%.
