    Herman Cain

'Ol Herm is coming on strong. Deserves a thread all his own:

Cain: Ron Paul Supporters “Annoying,” Always Ask The Same “Stupid” Questions

Betcha didn't know Cain was President of the Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas, eh?

Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain makes it clear in his new book that Texas Rep. Ron Paul’s supporters annoy him with their “stupid” questions about the Federal Reserve.

Cain, the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO, writes that Paul’s supporters are “threatened by me” and are “trying to destroy me on the fact that I was once affiliated with” the Federal Reserve.

Cain was chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in 1995 and 1996.
The Daily Caller obtained an advance copy of Cain’s book, “This is Herman Cain,” which goes on sale Oct. 4. In the manuscript, Cain claims Paul’s campaign “sends one of its ‘Paulites’ everywhere I show up.”

Paul is a proponent of auditing the Federal Reserve.

“I get the same stupid question at almost every one of these events,” Cain writes. “I know it’s a deliberate strategy. How can a person randomly show up at a hundred events and ask the same stupid question to try to nail me on the Federal Reserve? It’s really becoming annoying more than anything else.”
Cain said Paul’s fan have “stretched the truth” by accusing him of not wanting to audit the fed.

“I have never said that,” Cain wrote. “I have said: ‘I don’t think you’re going to find anything to audit on the Federal Reserve.’ But they want you to believe that Herman Cain doesn’t want the Federal Reserve to be audited.”

Cain might actually be the best of the bunch on the Republican side, but I have a feeling it's going to be a while before another black guy gets a shot at the title (which is really too bad) as Obama has really done such a poor job from a leadership perspective and the US is just too racially motivated to have lightning strike twice in a row.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Herman Cain: Black Community Is Brainwashed Into Voting For Dems

A little history for all you true history-challenged...

When the Civil War ended, democrats initiated Jim Crow laws to keep the black man down. Democrats didn’t much like blacks. In fact, the KKK, as you know, was founded as the the terrorist wing of the Democrat Party

The Ku Klux Klan assassinated many Republicans including Republican Representative James M. Hinds (December 5, 1833—October 22, 1868) of Little Rock. Hinds represented Arkansas in the United States Congress from June 24, 1868 through October 22, 1868. In the history of America it was the democrats who repeatedly persecuted blacks.

Today Herman Cain said the black community was brainwashed into voting for democrats.
The one African-American running for the GOP presidential nomination said Wednesday the black community was ‘brainwashed’ for traditionally siding with liberal politicians.
“African-Americans have been brainwashed into not being open minded, not even considering a conservative point of view,” Cain said on CNN’s “The Situation Room” in an interview airing Wednesday between 5-7 p.m. ET. “I have received some of that same vitriol simply because I am running for the Republican nomination as a conservative. So it’s just brainwashing and people not being open minded, pure and simple.”

Maybe but Obama gave up his leadership early by letting Pelosi & Co. write his health care bill for him, it also created the extreme partisanism.

Yeah, Herb deserves his own thread and a seat in the white house.

CAVUTO: Well, you know, they're all over you on this Herman. You want to clarify that or expound on it?

CAIN: Hey, Neil, a reporter asked me would I appoint a Muslim to my administration. I did say no, and here's why. The reporter didn't tell you this. I would have to have people totally committed to the Declaration and the Constitution of the United States and the laws of this country.

Some of Cain's ideas I don't mind, such as simplifying the tax system.
Also the fact he is a succesful entrepreneur, not just a career political slimebag.
Otoh, he does foam at the mouth a bit. Don't think the US voter wants an 'angry black man' type.

There is a lot wrong with that statement. Cain is stating that, just because someone is a Muslim, they are not committed to the constitution etc. Considering that the US is a nation that practises freedom of religion, and that there are Muslims in all walks of life, including FBI, military and spooks, that is just absurd.

Palin, Bachmann, Perry, Cain- the Teabaggers spit them out like a production line, but they are soon shot down. You'd better learn to like good ole' Mitt- because barring a miracle, that's who you will get.

Cain: “Too Bad” If Black Voters Offended By “Brainwashed” Comment

Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain stood by his contention that black voters shy away from the GOP because they have been “brainwashed” into voting for Democrats.Appearing on ABC’s “This Week,” Cain, the lone African-American among the GOP presidential hopefuls, said that it was “too bad” if black voters were offended by his suggestion they were not thinking for themselves.
“If the word is inflammatory, that’s too bad, it’s true,” he said. “And here’s why: because some black people won’t even listen to someone who appears to be a conservative or a Republican. I call that brainwashing.”
Pressed by host Christiane Amanpour about whether black voters traditionally supported Democrats because they disagreed with Republican policies, Cain said “I say that the reason they don’t see them as meeting their demands of what they’re looking for is because they have not looked at them.”
“My economic growth and jobs plan, as an example, is not partisan,” he said. “It is a solution that benefits everybody, especially the African-American community.”

Herman Cain On Iran: I Would Upgrade Our Missile Defense System And Tell Ahmadinejad To “Make My Day”

In discussing his foreign policy views, should he become president, GOP candidate Herman Cain said he would build up the Aegis Missile Defense system and tell the Iranian president to “Make my Day.”Cain made his remarks at the Values Voters Summit in Washington, D.C. on Friday.
“I would make it a priority to upgrade all of our Aegis surface-to-air ballistic missile defense capabilities of all of our warships, all the way around the world,” he said. “Make that a priority, and then say to Ahmadinejad, ‘Make my Day.’”

Herman Cain Is Booming, But Many GOPers Are Still Leery of a Bust

Herman Cain's moment seems to have arrived. He is surging in the polls, and getting positive notice from a conservative movement still looking for an alternative to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. But, according to several veteran GOP operatives, many Republicans question whether Cain can harness this momentum. They doubt he has the political savvy or organization needed to translate it into sustained success and, eventually, votes rather than following the same boom-bust arc that Rep. Michele Bachmann and Texas Gov. Rick Perry have, to different degrees, traveled.

More broadly, he also seems to lack campaign infrastructure and a strategy for tackling the primaries and caucuses, GOP operatives say. "I'm not sure he can raise the army it takes to win a primary or caucus," says Republican consultant Terry Holt, a former top aide to House Speaker John Boehner. "You have to win votes to win the nomination." And, Mackowiak adds, Cain's choice to run a national campaign rather than focusing on key early states like Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina, calls into question how serious his bid is. Candidates working with limited staff and resources tend to spread themselves too thin if they try and run a nationwide campaign.

Cain's decision to spend most of October promoting his new book, This is Herman Cain!, rather than campaigning in early states is also raising eyebrows among GOP operatives. "He just doesn't look like he is serious about this," Mackowiak says.

Herman Cain Bobs and Weaves While Getting Beat with a Bag of Quarters by Lawrence O’Donnell on The Last Word

I normally don’t take much of a liking to watching another black man get taken to the woodshed so thoroughly.

In the case of Herman Cain I will suspend said decision rule. Moreover, to watch a “Morehouse man” get schooled by a white interviewer on his failure to live up the great tradition of that historically black college was priceless.

A few thoughts on Lawrence O’Donnell’s ownage of Herman Cain.

    1. What was up with the Amen corner for Herman Cain? I know that he has suspended his campaign to go shill for his book, but that was truly odd. Why didn’t Herman Cain go to a studio or a quiet room and do the interview. Was Cain’s peanut gallery a condition for appearing on the The Last Word tonight?

    2. Only some black people are brainwashed. They are apparently not alone given that the majority of people who vote for Democrats are brainwashed. Did you know, anyone who wants to raise taxes on the super rich is also brainwashed?

Curiously, Herman Cain offers no comment on if poor and working class white people who vote for the Republican Party are also brainwashed. And of course he repeats the “class warfare” meme and furthers the propaganda line that 50 percent of tax payers now pay 97 percent of the taxes…this newest “fact” was new to me.

    3. Herman Cain truly was a self-interested free rider during the Civil Rights Movement. I particularly enjoyed how he, in typical faux populist Conservative fashion, rewrote history so that in his version of events High School students, other young people, and college students were not involved with the sit-ins and freedom rides. This is utter balderdash. Herman Cain chose to be a bystander to history. There is no courage or honor there.

    4. Never fear! Herman Cain ain’t one of them pesky negro agitators!
Herman Cain’s admission that he passively and obediently went to the back of the bus when a white driver told him to was especially telling. The Tea Party audience, and those who fondly remember Jim and Jane Crow will love that little fact. That allusion was a doubling down of Cain’s benign memories of segregated water fountains which weren’t that bad “because the water tastes the same.” The Conservative White Soul with its fondness for the good old days of yee old South was certainly quite pleased with Herman Cain tonight.

He, like many black conservatives benefit from the Black Freedom Struggle, but are professional hit-men and assassins for white Conservatives, only on the bankroll as racism shields and human chaff for the Tea Party GOP. Cain’s interview further demonstrated that fact.

    5. When confronted on the questionable math that under-girds his grotesque and regressive “9-9-9″ plan (a gangster capitalist ploy, one that would make our economy far worse and further increase wealth and income inequality); challenged on saying that the unemployed who are not rich should blame themselves because its their own fault; that gay people choose their sexuality; on the quack science he pledges allegiance to; his avoidance of service in Vietnam; and his backtracking on Rick Perry’s “Niggerhead” debacle, Herman Cain shuffled, jived, buck-danced, bobbed, weaved, cakewalked, and banjo played like a traveling carnival performer on a 1 foot by 2 foot sized wooden box right next to the dog faced boy and the man with a shrunken head.

Herman Cain was dancing for food; He knew that if he fell off that box he wouldn’t be gettin’ no vittles tonight. Cain teetered a few times, and the box shook, but the tap dancing shoes didn’t fall off and touch the ground.

    6. Am I the only one who noticed Herman Cain’s extremely rapid eye blinking, obvious agitation, and on the edge of overt fluster demeanor which suggested that he was about to go all over Lawrence O’Donnell?

In all, tonight my friend Herman Cain was one part Jim from Huck Finn, mixed with a bit of as he is right out of central casting.

Ultimately it is all toot sweet! as he keeps the train rolling and gains more momentum from the rapturous love that emanates from the dark heart of the White Conservative imagination which fuels his presidential campaign.

The inevitable derailment will be fun to watch.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

Now here's something these Loons should think about, eh?

Cain: Move ‘Occupy Wall Street’ to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue

“When a reporter asked me the other day, well, what do you think about those demonstrations up on Wall Street, I said, first of all, Wall Street didn’t write these failed economic policies -- the White House did,” said Cain.

What all the way too the Whitehouse? You've got to be fokking kidding right?
Cain may be the best thing the Repubs have going for them now, but he's obviously a creep, an ideologue, and a puppet of the white folks, he will never go 'all the way'.

There is something very shady about Cain, usually the most self righteous have the darkest secrets, it'll will all come to light no doubt.

Herman Cain responded to the attacks by far left pro-Castro activist Harry Belafonte tonight on Hannity:

“As far as Harry Belafonte’s comment, I left the plantation a long time ago. And, all they try to do when someone like me, and I’m not the only black person out there that shares these conservative views. The only tactic they have to try to intimidate me and shut me up is to call me names and this sort of thing. It just simply won’t work.

Heh...the Jesse Jacksons and Harry B's of the world don't much like it when a Black man speaks the truth, eh?
