The upcoming decline in oil prices...

...is this a sinister plot by the Saudis to essentially destablize their Iranian foes?

What’s Behind the Crash in Crude Oil ? :: The Market Oracle :: Financial Markets Forecasting & Analysis Free Website

Can economic warfare succeed in toppling Iran’s Ayatollah Khameini before he gets the bomb in 2009? If US military intervention against Iran has been ruled out for 2007, the big question is whether Saudi Arabia is behind the latest plunge in oil prices, to wreck havoc on Iran’s budget and economy? Meanwhile, Iran is banking on strong demand for crude oil from Asia to put upward pressure on the price, and there will be plenty of jawboning from Ahmadinejad.

Personally, I can't wait for the bus fares to drop down to 4 baht again, and for the local motorbike taxis to reduce their fares to what they were before the oil prices went up.

I'm also looking forward to the day that angels fly down from heaven and sing lovely songs and make everyone happy and smiley.
The truth is out there, but then I'm stuck in here.

i agree. a super spike seems to be inevitable...especially with the US positioning the navy near the straight of hormuz. if i knew anything about oil futures (and was willing to buy 1,000 units!) i'd be tempted to invest.
