    HDR Photography

There was a nice sunset at my place tonight, so I decided to try my hand at a bit of HDR photography which I'd been reading about recently. Sadly it appears I need to practice a lot to get decent results However, here's my first attempt:

This was the result of 5 pictures under and over exposed from -2/3 to +2/3 and processed with the HDR function in Photoshop.

Then I did a more conventional one. With little processing, except it was a bit boring so I added some lens flare:

Not too bad IMO. Maybe apply some filters and you could really bring out some of the colors.

I think HDR seems to work better with scenes of objects rather than landscapes, but a good effort on the 2nd piccie.

Next time I'll try with 7 or 9 exposures. Also, I should have got the tripod out, that would have helped.

I've been reading about this and have already taken one series of shots to work with, when i got the software.

    Didn't know photoshop covered this.

    How about a quick tutorial?

    Please.....
