Vertically challenged sounds way more harsh then short or a midget. Almost sounds like a disease. "Yes Johnny has a rare disease of Vertically Challenged". Lets get the guy on growth hormones so he is normal.

Thankfully my daughters do not buy into all the PC stuff. My oldest routinely messages me with some one liner abut something someone did that was retarded and says it just as that. Thankfully I am not changing any of that. It is what it is. The world is full of cry babies now. I remember back in High School playing Football and one of us would make a mistake, the coach with call us aside and say" What are you a fkning idiot". Then he would explain what we missed and we went out and played never thinking anything of it. He was right. We didn't go home depressed and suicidal and wanting to sue the coach. Can't imagine coaching any sports now. Everybody is a winner.

While I can agree that it makes better sense with soccer being "football" the fact is...nobody cares except you whinging soccer guys. Soccer is a boring ass sport. It takes no talent really, just some moderate endurance to run around for an hour or so and who likes a sport where they spend hundreds for tickets, spend hundreds for beer and food and about 2 hrs later its a draw...0-0 and you go home. Makes no sense to me.

You got one thing right, at least.

However, nobody outside of the US cares about your shite, boring sports where fat people run into each other for 5 minutes followed by a load of adverts for fast food cos the brain capacity and athleticism of both player and viewer has already been exceeded.

Thanks Mike. We. I considered cutting the wires but then I have to resolver them and attempt to keep them from not getting wet where I spliced it back together. The light is basically waterproof with connections that seal to be outdoors. So I figured it was best to take apart at the PCB and keep the wire in tact.

On the cross members on top, it was a thought but the vine plants I have in mind should cover it all. Looking back though, I should have bought 1 more length and added a few but I didn't and it was a mill cut cost and to get one extra after the fact was more than I really wanted to spend on it as it was a lot cost.

Ok. Well let's see the sold out stadium in Germany when the Dolphins play the Chiefs tomorrow night. You tell me then how people outside the US hate our NFL. It is big news and has been sold out for months. NFL game pass is now available worldwide just like our NBA. Nobody pays for a Soccer game pass. It's boring.

You sell out a novelty event every now and then and you think your sports are relevant?

Fella, your sports are wank and the world responded a long time ago: nobody is interested.

(Proper) Football is the world's game.

Ask Somchai at the end of the soi if you need further clarification.

Give it up Hal. You are wrong and you know it. It's as simple as that. The reviews and viewing numbers prove you absolutely wrong.

Now go watch a few guys run around like pooves and cry when one gets kicked in the shin and the other player cries because he got a red card and has to go sit in the corner. . Waaaaaaaaaaah.

What planet is this man on?

No wonder the rest of the world thinks you're all tossers (and your sports are shit).

Don't worry Stumpy, after about five days of this he usually reverts to something resembling a fully evolved human being.

Yeah Hal goes off like a check valve stuck feeding blood to his brain, then someone probably kicks him and the clog frees up and blood flow back to his brain resumes.

I enjoy the banter with Hal even when the guy is dead ass wrong he will absolutely never ever admit it, which in itself is rather funny.

I was just watching NFL today and they are talking about all the games in Europe this year and that there will be even more in the following seasons as ( guess what who woulda thunk it) the European fans LOVE it and want more games. But according to Hal, nobody outside the US watches it.

No hard feelings, Jp. Banter is what it's all about.

Clearly though, you live on a different planet to the rest of the world that doesn't even know what your national sport is.

However, it's all good sport on here and keeps us engaged.

Especially Cy, since he clearly hasn't got over the ignominy of yesterday's post on our football threads.

He can direct you there if you ask him nicely.

I was based in Australia in 2002. The Blackeyed Peas were the biggest band in the world with their song 'Let's get it started'.

Arrived back home in 2003, it came on, but was 'Let's get retarded'.

The Aussie censors obviously banned the 'retarded' line.

Perhaps the 'it' in the song is now banned as a gender biased pronoun.

I was gonna mention this when you posted your pillars.

    But now, with the light.

You didn't design/build villas in Phuket before ya did the house by any chance?

I'm still waiting for Mendy to send down the woodstain etc.

That's why they're all tatty and inhabited by wildlife. Not because I'm a lazy fooker, no siree b0b.

Might use this as inspiration to take 'em down and ....... nahhhhh.

Never gonna happen there ol Cheddar. My wife and I knock down any and all nests that are on the house, lights etc. I routinely have those little doves try and nest in between the glass windows as we leave all the house windows open all the time. I just grab the nest and toss it. I usually get it before they laid eggs and as the female gets desperate, she starts a nest in the trees. While I really like all the birds we have around, they can make a huge mess with their crap and it draws ants and roaches when they nest on the house.

The other thing I have around here ( which I enjoy) is quite a few of the Greater Coucal birds. They are nest robbers so they keep the bird nests down. Greater Coucals will never nest on a house.

No mention of rugby? League or union. No mention of Australian rules footy ( played with an oval ball) I like all sports, but was never a big participant. Growing up myself and a few friends in primary school wanted to play soccer( England calls it football) they told us to fook of and play Aussies rules ya pooftas. So that's what we did. I enjoy watching all of it on the telly with a cold beer but not enough of a fan to go to the games. All of it these gdays is highly monetised anyway. They can spend millions to sign up.a player. I don't get it.. but I will say when I watch the football/ soccer I go for TOTTENHAM. There I've said it. Have it

I enjoy Rugby. However for me here, it's all about game times and streaming. While I love my sports, I am not getting up at 1am or 2am to watch a game. With Game Pass I can watch all games whenever I want which is very convenient. So I can watch NFL, NBA and MLB anytime. I do not look at scores and my US buddies are never spoilers. I do wish I could get NASCAR and NHRA motorsports but I have to find them later on YouTube. I used to DL NASCAR races but the guy who would upload stopped.

A great NFL game is about to kick off in a few hours in Frankfurt, Germany.
