    Red face Yet another newbie

    Hi All,
Joined up not long ago. I remember checking this site out a while ago and possibly registering in order to lurk. I post on another board or three using this same handle, first trip to LOS was in 2000, and made probably about 9 or 10 trips up from then up until 2005...
Looking more than likely I'll be making another comeback in the second half of this year.
Be warned, sometimes I say stupid stuff... Go easy.

HA HA!! Love it! Reminds me of when I was a kid my mum had an old record Snoopy vs the Red Baron - - she told me they used to bleep the "bloody" out of the lyrics when they played it on the radio, but her record had both versions... and we used to giggle upon hearing the "swear" word..

Not sure superman. Wherever I lay my hat I guess. Since it's been so long there'll be a lot of catching up to do with old friends who live in bangers, one near pattaya and one in the middle of nowhere (I think)... plus if luck has it some of my old mates from the UK may be in town. I'm guessing BKK/PTY for the reunions, then likely head to an island for a bit of rest... or maybe up north, maybe both - time permitting. All depends on how much time I can get off work.

Over the years I saw a lot of the place but there's always more to see and do/discover. If I'm there in November I'd be keen to attend the Hellfire Pass Rememberance Day service as mentioned in another thread here. I lost my grandfather last year who was a WWII vet, I reckon he'd be kinda happy if I did something like that. Plus I did enjoy Kanchanaburi last time I was there.

A more important day to visit, if you can is Anzac Day, the Thailand Tigers organise a footy trip in Kanchan around the weekend that also has a very moving dawn service there.

Thanks for the tip Sir Wilson. This April is out of the question but (as we all know) the 'next trip' is always being planned in our heads before we leave the current one... Could be a plan.

If you can think of five-letter words other than bream you could go far on here.

Bobcock will when he starts losing a debate and has nothing more to add.

Anyway welcome to another Aussie and make as many mistakes as you wish.

Some of us here have a bit of vision and common sense and can read between the lines. Plus it pisses the Brits off who are no better at the language.
