New to TeakDoor and new to backpacking Thailand!
Can't wait for our 29 days of relaxing and enjoying everything Thailand has to offer..
TD looks like it can answer alot of my questions.. Glad to see there is a community like this available for the newbies..
We live in Banff, AB, Canada, and have a ski season to come back to after the beaches!

Welcome to Teakdoor and have a nice trip.
Whenever I hear backpacking Thailand I remember a scene I once saw there.
A young tall slender farang woman backpacking. She carried an absolutely enormous backpack worthy of a Nepalese sherpa and on top of that a baby. As she carried it easily the backpack was probably mainly filled with nappies.
She looked like she had a good time too.
