    Hi Guys,
phew what a day eh, it has been pretty jolly hot, I should say.

I have just spent most of the morning teaching a little extra English to some of my keener pupils, well, it helps with the rent these days.

Pretty exhausted actually, got home around 4.35PM, pretty much pooped, never mind, I managed to force myself to cook some pasta with some anchovies, may I say, it was absolutely delicious.

I think I will remain home this evening, probably catch up on some of marking which I have sadly negelected over the weekend, frightening how it mounts up guys, you wouldn't believe it.

Got a couple of good DVDs to watch later, if I don't fall asleep first - If you get the chance, pick up a copy of The Secrets Of Jonathon Sperry, it is a breath of fresh air these days compared with the terrible rubbish doing the rounds, very pleasant to watch with a glass of red wine and dimmed lights.

The other is much more raucous I should say - jolly good fun though, The Mystery Team, I heard it was quite entertaining, I watched five minutes or so last night but fell asleep, again due to my workload, but I shall try and persevere tonight and do the movie justice.

Well chaps, glad to have bumped into you all so to speak, look forward to some chatting online soon.

    David

    Hi there Loy Toy,
I'm David, I actually teach English, can you believe it eh? takes all sorts! I enjoy it, I like a bit of fun.

It tends to bit on the hot side here and there are no hills like we have in Keswick, the food is pretty stomach burning, but well, it's great to be a part of Asia!

UBC is quite good, thank goodness I have cable, I'd go mad if I had to stay home every night without some fantastic TV!

Thank you sea traveller, are you a fisherman? I loved fishing, don't get much time these days what with all the school work, you would be suprised just how physically exhausting being a teacher is! Phew, give me a life on a fishing boat anyday....you wouldn't want to be in my shoes I can tell you!

    Ha ha, Hi,
I expect that this was a jovial welcome, but my name is David, I am not skegmandatedavid, I think you must have mistaken me for another internet operator.

What are the best forums here for a bit of a chit chat? I really don't feel like a Newbie anymore, where would you suggest I check out to have a bit of a ding dong and some interesting head to head?

I do try to be diciplined, but sometimes I must admit I let myself go a little!
I just cannot stand this heat, my school only provides me with a small desk fan, how irritating, I thought everywhere would have had air conditioners.

    goodness, what a test!
