Hello to all on TD

Hi everybody, I just joined up yesterday despite being invited some time ago. At that time I was busy on another forum but currently am enjoying a short break so thought I’d drop by. I’ve made something like ten posts so far before I realized this forum existed but that’s my style “real men don’t read instruction manuals”.

I lived and worked in Thailand on and off between 1992 and 2004 before falling out with the company I worked for. Since then I’ve drifted around doing work mainly in S. E. Asia and am currently in the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam. I still return regularly to Thailand for holidays and stopovers en route to/from the UK so like to keep in touch with what’s what and who’s who in town. “Town” for me is Pattaya as that’s where I lived all those years and still enjoy my returns, although this aging carcass can only stand it for a couple of weeks at most now. The UK, South Wales, is my home territory although I now consider “home” to be the place I lay my head.

I look forward to engaging in the usual mix of lively banter and outright piss taking.
