How about this it would be like comparing.......a large dictator'ish type country with lots of secret police who came and arrested people in the middle of the night and then (insert something really bad here like tourture, shoot, make them watch cricket) and where all semblance of free thought and fun had been ground out of the general population by the never ending drudgery and hardships of their grey little lives they have been forced to endure to a small tropical utopia ruled over by a free thinking and benevolent ruler, where the people just frolic in the sun alll day living off the magnificent bounty that their island provides spending their free time discussing radical new philosophic ideals, doing really good "stuff" or just fucking around and sharing dirty pictures with each other.
