Hi Everyone,

I've been reading this forum for a little while now but decided to join. I've looked at a few other forums like thaivisa and ajarn but I think this one is better. So thanks for the good info so far. Maybe after some time I can start some good threads here on my own.

I will be arriving in Bangkok August 26th. I will relax for a bit and start a TEFL course at Chichester College in Bangkok on September 8th. Is there anybody taking the same course I am? Maybe we can be classmates!

I am from Nova Scotia, Canada. I'm 25 and finished Uni last year.

I have one question though. I have a double entry tourist visa for 60 days. To change that to a working visa (non Imm B) I was told to change that over I would need my University diploma. I have the original ready to go and I the university made some copies that are signed and sealed by the administration of the school. I'm just nervous to hand the original out.

Now for the question: Could I use the copies of my diploma to apply for the visa or should I use the original?

Welcome, for my first job here I had to hand in the originals + that other document that says how you did in each course (can't remember the name) But things may have changed as DD says copies.

Take both with you, but as mentioned above never hand over the original. Have a habit of losing things here (or sellind it to the highest bidder).
