Hi guys, yes I am a newbie on Teakdoor. I have lived in Korat for about a year and find it pretty easy to live here. I am active in our VFW post 10217, have a wonderful Thai wife, a dog and cat, drive a 4x4 Ford, don't hang out in the pubs much, like cooking and puttering around home. I notice some of the members like to post some rather confrontational dialogue, that is OK.Crazy Eddie in Korat

Yes, thanks for the warm welcome! I think I figured out how to have an avatar (or "signature"), see if it works on this post. Korat is treating me OK, lot of friendly people here and a slower pace of life than Bangkok or Pattaya. I do not plan to spend my whole life on teakdoor.com, have a few other things to keep me busy too. As for where I'm from? Lived in western WA for the past 26 years, prior to moving here a year or so ago. Live not far from PB Restaurant now, will move to Joho within maybe 6 months.
