I am new. I heard about this place from someone I met in a bar the other day. I live in BJ city, thats Beijing, but I am moving to Thailand soon.

I am probalby an ordinary person, and I am married to my western wife for many years, and I have 3 kids.

I certainly like to play up, so I am very happy to be moved to Thailand next month.

Can anyone tell me what Rat-buri is like please - I am doing a relocation with my company, but are there bars and that stuff there.

You will have to make your own scene as a farang in Ratchburi. But its laid back its got cable TV, golf courses and full speed is just over 2 hours from BKK. If your being relocated you will find yourself in one of the nicer mubans in RB.
You will have a movie theater, a Lotus, or someother discount store, and If you are lucky a nice farang bar or restaurant. But dont bet on the bar or restaurant. You will also have access to your hearts delight in any kind of pirate software, or DVD, or games.

at about 4 times the price your used to - in fact most thailands pirate DVD's etc come from china lol
