well my mom is Thai...she is from Phrae, North Thailand....my Dad he is American. He had a passion for Thailand. I was actually born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. My Dad was working for EXXON at the time and met my Mom in Malaysia.

I hope to one day settle and live forever in Thailand. It's my overall goal. I found blueprints to simple homes here in this forum. This place is a gold mind of information for a person like me hoping to live, work, and reside in Thailand soon.

Thanks to all. Looking forward to more honest and good information.

yup.....University of Texas allows students to carry. As long as you have prper permit and license. Also anywhere in Texas you can carry concealer or unconcealed as long as you have a permit/license to carry.

If you are lucky, life is a long process that goes by quickly.

Better to stay in the west if you can earn good money. sweat it out and plan financially to come here in 20-25 years with enough to stay.

That being said your grandparents may be willing to give you a house but you'll still have to earn enough to survive here.
