    Good Morning All

A belated hello to all on Teakdoor. I joined up a few years ago but was too busy to post anything. I am now retired and have time on my hands.

I have been working in Thailand for almost 10 years. Most of it working in central Thailand but did a year and a half in Bangkok. I'm an avid cyclist, and ride about 3 times per week. Over the years I have noticed an increase in the amount of cyclists that I see, especially on the weekends.

Every year I go on long distance rides in various parts of Thailand - last November I went from Nong Khai to Ubon in 8 days on the mountain bike along the Mekong River. I'd be happy to post some photos when I learn how....

Yes I look forward to the big trips each year. First year we went from Ayutthaya to Chiang Mai, second was from Ayutthaya to the Three Pagoda Pass and back. We try to avoid the main highways for obvious reasons. Amazing scenery especially riding through or past some of the national parks.

Thanks Neverna. I watch a fair bit of teevee and read quite a lot, so will be posting in those sections. I bought a kindle last year - quite a brilliant invention, and can download books for free!

You'll have to talk to Toasterman for info on that.

Oh Big H welcome. Pull up a chair and have a laugh?

If that doesn't work for you, you can always follow Neo's advice...

And a belated welcome to you, Mr. H. That's a witticism, BTW.

Thanks for all the welcome messages. Seems that there's a bit of interest in a cycling thread with pics, so I will definitely put one together. I'm off on a holiday for two weeks so will do so once I return.

I've had a bit of a look at how to post pictures, and the easiest way seems to be:
    1. Resize photos to 800 x 600. Easy enough I have software to do that for bulk photos.
    2. Open photobucket account.
    3. Post link for each photo in teakdoor thread.

Sounds easy enough, am I missing anything?

Posting pics on TD is easier said than done, mate...

The entire forum is in dire need of updating - it's archaic coding is circa 90's..

On a positive note, I suppose it adds to its charms...
