back again : after a quick look round on monday : some of the subforums have been locked out till 50 posts : ???? : i see a few of you posting on TV : whittler today i think : poolcleaner the other day : and marmite

so just for the record : i know some of you have a problem with the mods and some members over there : i guess thats why you troll there or am i wrong : to be honest aint too bothered either way : just interested to know where the disliking comes from :

fair enough : i know what you mean : some of the moderating is a bit harsh if you aint in the right crowd.

The real problem with Tv is that it attracts a massive audience through it's status but anyone who doesn't fit their narrow profile gets the arse very quickly.
Those who are less controversial find that the have to agree with dr postcount and his sorry bunch of sycophant mods to stay on the forum.

Look at mr aitchison's post about cliques.
the top 10 posters are all of dr pp's cronies.
It's a fucking back-slappers club.
They don't want new members, new ideas, interesting threads.
They live for the time they can bin a thread and ban a poster.

yep i agree with what you say to a point : but what is "their narrow profile"? : youve been on there a while : and you got a fair number of posts to yer name : do you think you fit the profile : if not why keep going back : it cant be just to wind people up : cos looking back at your posts you aint an aggresive poster!

you also mention the top 10 posters : again im not arguing your point i reckon thats a fair comment : but 2 of the docs cronies are on ere too : one of em a mod : hows that work then?

I've been unfairly banned (since rescinded) from TV and had several pms from dr pp because of my posts. In short I made some less than complimentary remarks about Dr Postcount. He didn't like it at all. Basically he fancies himself as untouchable and when considering the manner he and his cronies attack those who disagree with him it is a fairly sad hypocracy.
I guess they made their mark of me when I was supporting Harry in his many forms.
As I posted over there...the fun police suck!

As for DaveThailand, he's welcome to post here. He's not always posting as a card carrying member of the Dr. Postcount Clique and if he chooses to and go back and give a report to the club, so be it.
While he's here he can enjoy himself if he wants after all our no.1 focus is on making this a better place for everyone!

Thought i would say hello, i am sure a few of you know me from Tv, and since being suspended by cdnvic thought i would move my ass over here. Fed up with the bullshite that is going on over the other side so i hope it is a bit more chilled here

Hi all, I found this forum by mistake actually, I was surfing the net and just off chance I noticed something to do with building and construction of houses in Thailand, so I slipped into this and have joined as well. I am a TV member also, and no mistake the forum (ThaiVisa that is) is quite informitve, but the members seem to argue too much on TV, so I'm going to give forum a go.. Can someone help me out and give me a run down on how to use smilies and post correctly on this forum. I can use the computer, but I'm no wizard and sometimes computer functions are a little difficult for me, but in actual fact some are quite simple if shown correctly. Thanks
