    jargon buster

i am reasonably new to internet forums and often don't understand
    the abreviations.
some can be worked out like IMO (in my opinion), one i have seen
for a while now is when someone is sent a "greenie" or a "red".
is there a site somewhere where us 'not so young' computer illiterates
    can gain some savvy?
    thanks.

See the scales on the left, underneath you name?

If you click on the ones underneath mine, it will say I approve or disapprove & offer you a chance to comment on the post in question.

    Approve is green

    Disapprove is red

To see if anyone has give you a green or red, click on User UP near the top of the page & it will open a menu. Click User Control Panel just under that & you will see what comments people have left for you.

Tip : sometimes, people send a red as a term of affection

Check yours now to see the comment I have left for you.
