    Gday

Gday everyone, I have been lurking around for a while now throwing the odd comment in here and there and I thought it time to introduce myself.
I have been living in Issan for the last two and a half years,in a small farming village between Udon Thani and Khumpawapi , and really enjoying it, Iam the only Farang in the village, and that in my opinion is a good idea, as being an ex interstate truck driver in OZ I am used to being on my own and not socialising a lot.
My wife is only a few years younger than me and is probably one of the least demanding money wise females I have met anywhere , so I think I made a good choice.
Starting to ramble now so I will sign off. Have a good day.

Welcome aboard, Oz. I too live in the province (albeit in the Philippines) and often go months without seeing a foreigner - never been as issue for me either. Enjoy the forum.

Why did you leave the most beautiful place on earth to live in the Godforsaken featureless issarn?
Spent many happy weeks sailing around Whitsundays. Now I live a few minutes away from you.

Ratchaburi I did spend a couple of years at Newman in the west when it was Mt Newman so you can see how long ago it was, and I did make a few trips across the desert in the truck as well, you are from a good part of OZ.
