    Nissan 2012 Skyline GTR

I've always loved the GTR. I think it was banned for a while in the U.k, maybe that added to it's allure to me and the 2012 model is a serious piece of kit.

I think this test would have been totally different race if Tiff had been driving the GTR and JP had been driving the Turbo S. How come Tiff's not on Top Gear anymore? What happened?

Couldn't find Clarkson's review, (which was pretty funny) on Youtube but here's The Stig hitting the track.

And here is Mizuno, the Mac Daddy of the Skyline. Please ignore the annoying American dude who reads out the car specs and try to keep watching.

If everyone in the world drove this car we'd all get places a hell of a lot quicker.

Very entertaining F.P. Next time i've got 70k spare I know what to spend it on.. With that kind of performance I reckon a lot more people would find themselves in Hell a lot quicker , given my driving. .

The GT-R truly a formidable weapon for the streets of this god forsaken planet.

Did they fix the initial tranny problems? Nissan was denying claims when they got torn up for full-throttle launches with the traction control turned off (damned computers log every move you make)- that always seemed nuts- why build a car with a great 0-60/quarter-mile time and then punish the people who try to make full use of it?
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I read a few comments about this on youtube. A few people said not, but no facts.

For the money it's an awesome car- if I lived the the States I might be driving one now- the drivetrain issues would have kept me out of one, though, if they haven't been resolved.

I don't have a car here so I give my parking spaces to a guy in my building who has too many cars. The one he parks in my prime space is a Nissan GT-R and it has my apartment number painted in nice bold letters next to it.

He's always saying to me I can borrow it when ever I want.......

    Arrrh, here's why.

"In 2001, when the BBC cancelled Top Gear (the show was brought back in 2002), Needell and the whole cast defected and signed with Five to produce and host a new motoring show named Fifth Gear. He does however, still contribute to Top Gear magazine."

By your silence, I'll take it that the invitation is all good. Let me know when we're taking it for a spin!

Is it true that each transmission is different for each GT-R? My understand is they are hand built and you could not swap one for the other. Each car has a different bhp reading because of this too.

    hahaha, I wish.

Actually that was embarrasing that I sat with you and my son and you two talked about cars and games whilst I didn't understand a word.

On the way home he was all excited about playing Bad Company 3 with you online......guess that's another 2000 Baht I'll have to fork out.

Mother fucker, my neighbor opposite my house has just bought one.

How much does one cost over here? Because his house only cost 3.2m.
