Piccies from the 2008 Vintage Car Parade - Hua Hin

First, huge apologies to everyone because I have to admit I know nowt about cars. Absolutely nothing. So I feel a bit of a fraud posting this.

However, thought you might like to see some piccies of some very well cared for vintage cars (I hope they're all vintage & none of them are kit cars) from the annual Sofitel Hua Hin Vintage Car parade.

It was held last weekend & I took littl'un & my camera along. Must admit, I was hoping that there'd be little placards on each car listing make, model & year at the very least, but nope. So, please excuse the fact that for some of these cars I don't even know what make they are. You can make it like a little quiz, & see who can identify the most...

OK, all these cars were in the Sofitel car park on Saturday. We went around lunchtime. Later they drove through the town. Usually they give rides in the cars for charity, but not sure if they did that, this year.

Here are some of the vintage cars, mixed with guests' cars.

One of the first cars I photographed was this green Mercedes (and my lovely assistant )

Another Merc here, but I'm pretty sure this one is older...

A couple of MGs - in fact there seemed to be more MGs than any other make.

This one was rather cool. No idea what it was, though. Anyone?

Now for littl'un's favourite. I think he could have been influenced by the fact it was red.

Here's the lad himself, admiring 'his' car...

Well done NR, some great pictures there. Reminds me of the first time my Father took me to Olympia to see a classic car show. The little yellow Austin Seven type thing is always a joy to see, it was Dad's first car. No self starter in those days, and only three forward gears.
