I used to - it was my pride and joy but I sold it last year before moving to Thailand. We kept the Magna which was my wifes car as the company car and I havent got around to buying a new car for me yet. Those new utes sure do look good though.
News is what someone, somewhere is trying to suppress - everything else is just advertising.

I would only consider the purchase of a car, were I fortunate enough to have another child, unfortunately it would seem that i have become a Jaffa since I last spawned, so the question is moot.

You could always park it at the end of Pattayaland 4, that might be an apt setting for it.

Our car being blessed by monks. I don't know whether the white blobs that now adorn the headlining add or detract from it's resale value.

I saw a tatty EH Holden ute (the EH was bout 1964) in Pakchong. It had a Nissan engine put in it, no rust but needed a bit of money spent to bring it up to a good standard. Anyway when I was at high school that was my dream car, I would imagine myself cruising up the coast, couple of boards on the roof, couple of broads tugging at my dick while driving. Ahh those were the dreams !! Anyway I thought restoring that would make a nice little project and maybe could still acheive my dream. So enquired about the expected price, 280,000 Baht !! fluck me silly I said, I asked the seller don't you think your expectations are a bit high. No its a classic he said. Yes right !

It cost peanuts so we split the cost. She has agreed to try and remember to service the car next time.

You could pick up a BMW for that price but it will be a little old.

A friend has a truck with a 3.0 6cyl toyota engine fitted to it.

You could also find a lot of older mercs and beemers with jap 6's in them rahter that the original engine.

V6 wise I have seen bugger all in Thailand.

If I were you though I would go for one of these. Count the cylinders.

It looks horrible if you ask me.

I will get a jap car, as I don't like BMWs or Mercs.

I don't have a car here in Thailand. Living in BKK it wouldn't really make sense to own one. This is a pic of the last car I owned back in the states. Except that mine was black and didn't have a spoiler.

It's a Mercury Capri convertible. It was a rather sexy little beast, but not very reliable. Of course, it was built in Australia.

I got a 2004 VW Golf GT TDi chipped to 180bhp. Ask Fabian, coz nothing other than a super car can keep up with it and I get mid forties mpg.

I had one of these, pretty much problem free?
Buying second hand car is Thailand is "challenging" if you get a low mileage car, it will have been all Bangkok miles, high mileage, highway miles? would prefer slightly higher mileage car, but then they have probably clocked it anyway!
    Good Luck
