I was going to buy an Enfield and tour India on it. Luckily, I realised that that would've been a dumb thing to do.

Why would that have been a dumb thing to do?Originally Posted by Marmite the Dog

Mr squirrel,
You don't want to buy that. You want to give the details to me and let me suffer for it the rest of my life!
Because I can't ride a motorbike.Originally Posted by Bung

In Bangkok I ride very carefully, in the country if condtions are right, FAST.
Once got stopped at a Cop block where they asked how fast we were going, after assurances from them, No problems, I showed them the GPS reading 287 KMH. They all laughed and waved us on.
Got get me bike ^This is one dude I'd like to ride with!!!!
I'm with you. The damn things scare me to death. I can ride one, but I'm too clumsy to do it on a regular basis. Sh1t, I fell off my bicycle last night and today I can barely get out of bed. I hurt all over. If it had been a motorcycle I'd be dead now.Originally Posted by Marmite the Dog
Last time I went that fast a truck pulled in front of me and I found out how good my brakes really are.No problems, I showed them the GPS reading 287 KMH.
Last time I rode a motorbike it was a 500cc single trail bike and I overestimated how far you had to twist the throttle. The thing stood up vertically on the back wheel, and then fell on my chest
Fortunately, nothing was broken, but lots of skin was cleaned off. I was uncomfortable for weeks.
You said we showed the cops the gps?
287 kph 2 up??
That's fast.
See, Bruce, you do have something to say!
Up to 18 already.
Its fast, but not two up, my ole lady doesn't want to ride with me any more The "other" was another rider i.e. my fat pommie git mate on a Haybusa.
My GF just phoned to me and told me she's got an Ichifanni. Is this a Japanese or an Italian MC?
I think you'll have to scratch it to find out....
It's a hi-rider truck for me. If any of the stupid kunts pull out in front of me they will be swatted. Anyone know where to get some heavy duty bull bars?Originally Posted by buadhai

Are big spikes legal here (a la Mad Max)?
Just sold my bike last weekend. I am bikeless for the first time in years. I think I am having postpartum depression.
Sounds like you need a snow mobile.Originally Posted by Sanuk Canuk

Guy must have found a picture of a manx norton!
I like it but it looks like a 250cc yamaha motor in it...
MOrelike a 400cc from an SR
^ yr right Mrs Q, you know fuck all bout most things but you know your bikes, Its based on a Yam SR 400
Most likely pre-96/97 since it has a drum brake.
Can't remember when disks came in exactly sometimes in the late 90's
So that means it would be a slow joke to ride?
Maybe fun in the soi's?
