Just looked at on of those Harleys on Monday at Chang Freeeman's shop and it does look like it's made of plastic. I liked the looks of the V-Rod that was there though. His place is getting bigger all the time.
Here's my new cycle an 06 KLR650
My son and I logged about 18k miles on a pair of them over the past 11 weeks.
Across the USA twice and up to Deadhorse AK.
I'm finally back in Thailand and the first bed I've slept in, in over 6 weeks.
I hope to pack as much stuff on to my bike as yours one day....
Some great looking bikes in here!
I had this until December 23rd of last year, it was a 900 and went pretty fast. I had it up to 240+ a few times (hard to be exact, the speedo and tach needles would start gibbering about all over the place at around 200),
Some bastard in a pick-up side swiped me, f*cker didn't even stop, when I was riding the bike home from the repair shop after a service as I was selling it the next day. The damage was mostly cosmetic and the buyer (a good guy, I think he might be a lurker here) still took it but at less than half the price we had agreed pre-crash.
8 days in Bangkok-Phuket hospital and a bill of well over 200,000 Baht. I was also fined 2,200 Baht by Kathu municipality to replace the the tree I took out on the central reservation.
I had to promise the missus to stick to 4 wheels from then on. I've got a terrible itch to ride again but having seen the anguish she went through I couldn't do that to her again.
Stay safe guys, keep 'em sticky side down.

This time.

Nice bike and a good little earner for me as when I was short of money I would unbolt the brake calipers and sell him back to him the nest day.![]()
You have got to be joking right? Please tell me you are joking!Originally Posted by slackula
If true, I would go back there at night and rip it out. Or tie it in knots....or something to get some satisfaction at blowing 2200 on a 400 Baht tree!
Nope, not joking.Originally Posted by Bung
It was a sapling that pretty much went through my knee. My bike was impounded and before I could do the transfer and get the bike out to the buyer I had to pay the fine for replacement of the tree.
After I came off the bike skidded down the road a bit and damaged a light pole too but I wasn't charged for that. *shrug*
Pretty much garantee a local wouldn't have had to pay that......You should go check they replaced it - I bet they don't - and money in someone's pocket.
Fvckers.
I drive past the location almost every day; they have replaced my tree and also added those annoying white-stripe speed bumps in a few places nearby. Apparently I wasn't the first 'accident' there.Originally Posted by Bung
When I was liberating the bike the police told me that it is a black spot for them.
Them ole' Fireblades are like Tanks. Strong chassis, good to use as a stunt bike. If you going to drop any bike. This is the one to do it.
^ Very nice Slimboy, is the wife pleased with it and when will you be taking delivery of your bike?
Very funny.![]()
OK Was going to wait until I picked this up in a couple or three weeks, The deal is supposedly done money was exchanged hand were shook and papers signed. This is the beginning of a project bike and a decent machine already, just too much "bling" for me.
Will ride it home strip off about 40kilos of chrome and what not. ride teh piss out of it and then start making it what I want. Doesn't really "need" any work but to make it what I want it 'need' a lot. Gonna be fun, in the meantime, I can ride it. That P-pad is ugly as sin ain't it?
