Or maybe they could not grease them because they are'nt there..........?
Or maybe you have a genuine one, and all of ours are a copy Vigo, bought from that bloke behind the market.......?

I wasn't specifically referring to servicing, Peter, more to repairs. I even had Toyota mechanics working on my car once for 2 hours and then give me it back to me with no charge because they had not fitted any parts. That last one was a one off but as per my earlier post, I've often (but not every time) just paid for the parts and got labour free.

2017 toyota revo G model 4x4 d has 6 grease nipples on the drive assembly, mine definatly has them and they have now been greased
Toyota is upgrading their models all the time, engines, transmissions, electronics ETC and the vigo and revo models are completely didderent in a lot of ways
Being the auto expert you think you are did you know that the Toyota Tacoma(USA) has gone back to using the old cartrigde type of engine oil filter and you have to remove a underbody panel to get to it, only reason they would do this is to make it a lot more dificult for people to service their own vehicle, there is a U tube video about it
Last time i owned a vehicle with a cartridge oil filter was in 1983 a nissan patrol and it was as messy as hell to change it, every vehicle i have owned since has had a easy to change spin on and of oil filter

He is only stating that his 2016 work Revo has got no grease nipples!!!! Are you having a friendly wager that it has?
No, you need to stop being an A hole and think that you are right. No one is disputing that your particular 4x4 has 6 (if you say so) grease NIPPLES.
But calling the guy with a 2016 Revo a liar because his vehicle has none takes the biscuit.
Yeah, c'mon sport, put your money where your large mouth is and bet the guy 100k that his vehicle which he just checked has none.
I'm also in disagreement with your opinion on Thai genuine and independent dealers and mechanics.
But then i can just imagine, how you post on here, correlates with your demeanour in real life, that you are not winning minds and friends in either type of garages.
Do you even speak the lingo to these techs or do you need "The Translator"?.....
I do not care if his or someone else's hilux has grease nipples or not you Wally, I never said they had them, people trying to tell me my Hilux does not had grease nipples are the Wally's like you and i do not fooking care what you think or post on the forum you anonymous DH
Get out in the fresh air instead of hiding behind your computer and stalking me you loser and have a nice day if you can
You never stop learning and the only person who regularly posts useful and interesting information on this forum in my opinion is PVR2
It's a never boring matter to change differential oil at Hilux...
Well My Revo 2016 G 4x4 has no nipples to grease & this is my second Revo the first did not have any nipples.
So do I go down to Toyota to ask them to help, you out by removing your nipples so you could be a normal person like every body with no nipples.
This thread is useless without nipple photos !!
Well, seems everyone is wrong and everyone is right inc Wally DH.
So i'm in town lunchtime, getting out in the fresh air - thanx for the tip, Sport, call in at the local Toyota dealer because there is a new 2019-2020 model year 2WD PreRunner at the front on a tile floor.
Much to the bemusement of helpful staff, i make a bee line for said truck, and get underneath.
Lo & behold, 3 grease NIPPLES on 3 UJ's.
So this thread seems to confirm that according to PC the Wally, no Vigo's or Revo's had grease NIPPLES prior to 2017, and thereafter they have.
Here endeth today's informative lesson.
And i had my first check on my 150k kms UJ's since this topic started, this morning, i, underneath my own truck giving everything a good wiggle.
No play. No slop.
Sealed bearing UJ's holding up just fine after ZERO maintenance in 150,000 kms.
It may be a 2WD/4WD thing.
Sorry to spoil the consensus but my 280,000km and going strong, 2004 Toyota badged Hilux E Vigo 4WD Pickup registered November 2547 (2004) has 7 grease nipples on 3 prop shafts, from the transfer box. One prop shaft towards the front axle (3 GN) and one prop shaft, with a mid point joint, towards the rear axle N (GP).
From the Toyota GSIC - Global Service Information Center App.
The 2WD version, Rear Prop Shaft drawing, not shown, does not show any grease nipples.
The 4WD version Front and Rear Prop Shaft drawings, shown below, show 7grease nipples.
Front Prop Shaft (4WD)
Rear Prop Shaft (4WD)
The Toyota handbook and Toyota service guides recommends greasing is required every time the prop shafts are under water. Road flooding, mild river crossings, up to door seals ..... or in JPPR2's case, messing around under water with his bikini clad partner.
On a side note there is an electrically/Vacuum? operated front axle diff lock on the front axle, when 4WD is selected via the manual transfer box, (2WD HI, 4WD HI, neutral and 4WD LO lever, which had to be replaced. It wasn't engaging as the internal mechanisms were rusted up.
A tray full of GOLD is not worth a moment in time.
With or without the bikini clad companion?
Yes same here up to the sills, I'm always wary of floating away as when the river is above that level, there is a lot more pressure I presume.
I suppose the valve assembly/cam cover should be called the cam cover to be more precise, as many engines don't have valve rockers any more.
In my engine rebuild days, many years ago, my cars tended to have valves operated by a rocker driven by the rods running down to the camshaft, inside the engine.
Jesus.

"to have valves operated by a rocker driven by the rods running down to the camshaft",
end quote.
Pushrods my dear Watson. Pushrods.
OHV. Overhead valve.
And you rebuilt engines?
Jesus.
FYI..
"After recently taking my car to have a new rocker cover gasket fitted as it was badly leaking I noticed the guy who did it put a ton of gasket maker on the rocker cover when he sealed it, heavens knows why; I gave him a new gasket so it shouldn’t really be needed. Perhaps he used it to improve the seal."

As the truck has, Toyota defined, "overhead cams" pressing down on "Valve lifters", even though in reality they push the "intake and exhaust valves" down, with "inner and outer compression springs" doing the lifting, covered by a "Cylinder Head Cover Assembly", it does seem a little pedantic.
Here is a copy of the engine valve components, intake and exhaust" for your reference. Please be advised only these Toyota defined words will be allowed in the TD "Motoring" thread and a 2 week ban will be strictly enforced for those that utilise any words utilised in years gone past.
Some only know one word to describe an object, feeling, ..... and as is a fear of being accused as dumb, make no exceptions and even retort to arguing about such trivial things.
Mai pen rai.
