AIG.
I have been with them for years.
Always nice to deal with, I have had several minor accidents, always pay out no problem and never lose my NCB.
^
I second that, we're with them as well and they've proven to be brilliant. When we made our first claim the assessor even gave me extra time to 'find' my license (I didn't actually have a Thai license at the time and had lost my NZ one, in the end they accepted a statement from home that I did actually have a license).
With AIG only cars can be insured for one named driver.
I have a 4door pickup so it is insured for any driver.
I should lose my NCB when I make a claim but I don't. I have only made small claims and it has never been my fault so maybe he overlooks it and I get to keep my 50% NCB.
Maybe I am allowed one claim every two years with no loss of NCB.
I don't really know what their rules are on this one.
I loike AXA. They are genuine and not all that expensive for good cover. I have a 2.6 seven year old Holden and with two years NCB i have just paid 10000bht fully comp.
At least I have a licence.Originally Posted by William

Yep. I heard about your driving
NC rules are if you have an accident of any kind - even non fault - they can deduct from your NCB, even if you don't even make a claim, though if they are recovering costs from the other insurer they can overlook it. You are lucky if they do. If the other party isn't at fault then unless your NCB is protected (for a fee) you will certainly lose some of it.
I work for Norwich Union & deal with this sort of shit every day.
I don't recommend us for taking out your insurance.
This is what I'm going to use it for next year.
Viriyah Insurance, Thailand, ºÃÔÉÑ· ÇÔÃÔÂлÃСѹÀÑ ¨Ó¡Ñ´
^ I know.
Now I'm using Dhipaya (:: Welcome to DHIPAYA Website ::) but this year I have already claimed 2 times so if I still keep using it, the insurance premium will be increase and gonna be higher than Viriyah, that's why I change it.
RL, Are they the rules in UK or LOS ?Originally Posted by Richard Littlejohn
The rules apply to any policy underwritten by our company & I don't know who the front is in Aisa. The American arm is Aviva plc but I don't think they cover Thailand after looking into it. I'm surprised they don't.
They're no good anyway.
I have been dealing with Viriyah for my vehicle insurance for almost 5 years now. they are a well established company. I have only had one small accident when a guy backed into my truck. The adjuster was there 10 minutes after we called him. My truck was fixed to my satisfaction. I also get a discount each year i renew my policy. You can buy from other companies but will they be there when you need them.??

I don't have much money so I have to find someone that I can pay out each month. My finance phoned me and offered me a few insurers which the price is not much different but Viriyah offers a better deal, that's why I choose it.
The only reason is "money".

That's fine. Nothing to hide anyway.
I've been using Viriyah for about 4 years now on all my vehicles(5). I haven't had to use them yet.
A buddy who rent's cars recommended them. He's used them a couple of times.
I like my agent who also takes the books in every year for tax.
The premiums seem to decrease every year also.
