There are a couple of points here .

Number 1. The video dont show what happened beforehand , ie the lorry could well have been blocking that pickup earlier.

Number 2. The speed limit for that lorry on that road would have been 60kms so if it was being driven at the legal speed limit , very likely would not need to be in the 3rd lane.

Number 3 . Whatever the reason forcing that pickup off the road like that could have ended in untold deaths , imagine a honda wave coming the other way in the motorcy lane with a mum and her kids on it .


Surely the police should get hold of this video get it analysed ie times date number plate etc and remove that arsehole off the roads for good. This would be the case in the UK .

But I know tit and the more of this shit I see the less likely I will ever live here.

HGV's should not be travelling in the far overtaking lane of a 3+ lane highway. They have no need to be there and more importantly their presence creates a hazard for other motorists.

Additionally, what can one say about licensed/unlicensed drivers who have never had instruction? It all comes back to lack of government policy on the issue one has to say.

The Pickup blocked the truck in 2 lane & after the truck was in front, you would think the driver in the pickup, would drop back, but no he wanted to get back in front off the truck.

The truck driver was a little over the top but end result was achieved
The driver in the pickup, was not very smart, as he did not like the truck to go past him.

I drive a lot of Kilometres in Thailand, I find Truck driver here are OK drivers
I have come across many pickup drivers, Wvnker as they don't what you in front of them.

I was surprised how jolly the two Thai guys were who were recording it. I'd have been a bit more concerned that the lorry and pick-up smashed into my vehicle.

It was very lucky there was nobody standing at the side of the road when the pick up truck went off the road.

The drivers filming this idiocy seemed to be enjoying the show a little too much, but at least they were trying to get the license number of the truck.

It will be interesting to see if the highway police follow up on this, the video is all over the net right now and they must be aware of it.

I have seen similar behaviour on the roads here, but none quite as dangerous as that.

I find truck drivers generally ok in LOS, until they get to a U Turn....
Bus drivers way worse especially when in convoy mode.

If you look at the 2.12 minute mark, the truck is in the left lane then the pickup cut across to the left & the truck see him.
The truck cuts across to the right side & the pickup tries to get back to the right lane & the pickup is to late the truck has already past.

At this time you would think the pickup would let the truck go, but no.
The pickup keeps trying to get back in front of the truck.

So the pickup started & the truck finished it.
