Well, actually been to Thailand etc a few times. Anyway, might be looking to buy or build something for interesting trips.
Am building a car at the moment - and I do mean building - not rebuilding.
Enjoy.

Are you building here in Thailand?
Sounds great!
Did your oily finger slip on the keyboard when you were typing your name?
Greetings again, still on UK time till Feb 11th when I arrive in BKK.
Am currently building a V24 using 3 Rover V8 3.5's. Should be ready for the summer. Car I built last year is below - if the photos load OK.
No luck, I dont have 5 posts yet ......seems a strange way to do things, but.........
The videos for the above and other car stuff is on the tube under my handle... Hensen1954.
See ya soon.
Talking about building or buying, it seems vehicles are bloody expensive in Thailand.
What are you building? Can you put up pictures of your progress as that would be fascinating
A true car nut shouldn't be able to resist giving a few details.
An Interceptor was the first car I ever went a 100 mph in! I was 8 years old and my dad was driving, it was in Canada, he turned to me and said that we had just hit 100, I think it was probably the first time he'd done a ton in a car too.
Welcome Hensen!
Hi Hensen, welcome to TD
Let's see your wheels then
Yehhhh welcome.
I suspect your building a kit car!
A mate had one, bought the thing done same mind set as me in as what,s the fuck in point.
Rapid motor though as it weight fuck all,but not doubt fold up like paper if you wrapped it up.
Prove me a cnut by posting a photo of your build that,s not like I describe.
You have proved me a cnut your work was not what I was expecting, nice one.
You would not know my mate, and as Im going back about 25 years can not even remember what his car was called.
Best I can do is say it had a 1600 ford lump and was a two seater softtop.
They used to race similar motors around Brands Hatch, again not much help.
We all used to take the piss out of him as it did look fucking rough, not exactly a head turner as he thought.
with all you respect you are a sick mother focker,
i would love to hear that engine(s) noise.
bring it to thailand, i will visit you and pay the fuel for you to take me for a drive around pattaya on that.
Sorry but I'm calling B/S on the before and after shots as its obviously 2 different vehicles and the old limo has a different wheelbase to the sports jobby ,How do I know ? well i was involved in the restoration of one of the old Daimler limousines around 10yrs ago when I worked in the auto industry back in the UK !
From this to that, hard to believe, would have to see ALL the pics of that project to believe that.
What a bunch of doubters and armchair critics. First you think the yellow Daimler special is bullshit, until proved wrong. Now you're dreaming up all kinds of critical horseshit when this guy quite obviously knows what he is doing.
It's special building, been going on for many a year and is bloody marvelous.
One interesting thing was the bit someone reported about needing a thai regod chassis for a special. That shouldbe possible...could make something interesting on an old ute chassis...
Please keep up with progress reports.
