    My SR-400

Okies I bought this beastie a few months back, paid over the odds but it does have a legit book which was my main concern and after a long long search was happy to pay the asking of Bt.100k.

    As purchased,

Got it home and went out for a run about 1hr later, what a pig to ride, seriously it handled that bad, no wonder the previous owner had it parked for 12 months not longer after he spent a heap of bucks to build it (he bought it as a red cafe racer with road tyres/clip ons and solo seat).

Purchased purely because it had a "legit" book I set to task and starting to make it mine.

and off she goes, K Tuk works for me but moonlights as a body scraper ( you seriouly do not want to see the pics on his phone ) and has his own bike shop

A week later and he brings this back,

All in all am happy, cost me Bt.20k to have the wheels and shit done which also included the forks rebuilt. it now actually feels like a bike to ride.... happy days.

Now to start on phse 2 of making her mine, started today with my hybrid tracker/bobber mods and thats moving the number plate.

    Gunna go up here

What's up with the number plate? It looks home made.

Nice bike though, I'd be tempted to put a more retro style tire on it, that sporty one doesn't match. Something like -

If you think moving the plate is about handling then you really have missed the point.

So you took the mud gaud off so you had to put the number plate some where.
So you will be riding along & a Garbo truck pulls out in front of you all of that smelly water spreds across the road.
You can not get away from it & straight through it with a nice bit of spray up along your back.

I hat it as they run past my factory & I jump on the bike & as soon as I get onto the road there a bad odor, I look up the road 1-2 kilo & there it is.spewing all of that smelly water.

You do realise the seat ( in my configuration) offers the same "protection" as the fender will yeah .

Besides which I do not chase garbage trucks, if that is your kink good for you but yeah......not for me

You know when riding there is a vacuum behind your body & this sucks all the shit onto you back.
As I have been riding to work every day for 2 year & my bike has a mud fender as you say 7 still end up with a trail up my back.

You have a nice bike I would be looking to get to sit more upright, this will put less pressure on the hands.
This is a problem I have with the SRX6 my right hand gets a lot of pain from the throtle it is very hard

you seem to to miss the ideology of being cool, I wanted something different and did not want to be the usual "harley asshole with a loud pipe".

It is my bike and I'll do what I want to it but the gist of it all is to get out there on a Sunday and have some fum whilst not blending into the masses > usual harley asshole with a loud pipe<.

You also miss the ideology of being individual.

I thought everyone knew I lived in soi Khao Noi on the darkside of Pattaya.

Would you like the GPS co-ordinates to my actual house ?

or are you just being an asshole cause you can.

PM me for those coordinates if you feel you are more than the man you are and want to meet face to face.

My house my terms, you will not like what you meet but up to you., got the balls do you ?

Is that a pressure washer in the background? Straighten the hose on that thing and attach it properly- the bike looks nice but improper equipment storage in the same pic drops it a couple points.

One good thing is the oil filter is the same as SRX6.
So the SR4 is a wet sump & SRX6 is dry sump, but have the same oil filter.
By the way the pressure wash is to get the oil of the engine is this OK

    Nice bike Fondles.

I was wondering about the front end after looking at your pics and cant see If the fork inner tubes have been replaced / upsized , or not.
Thais love to slip on sweet looking lowers with no change to the damping/springing effect at all , cept perhaps a change of fork oil.

I like the monoshock Srx 650 , can be had for the same money , but a rarer find.

When you get bored of it .... send me a PM .

numberplate done (scuse the dodgy wiring, it will be tidied once the rest of the lights are done).

    Illuminated

And the 2 dorra mounts, couple of pipe clamps I found at work and some PVC tubing from my fishpond as a sleeve to suit the clamps

Seat has been cut down and is at the trimmers, brackets for my LED projector indicators/tailights/brakes should be done on the laser at work tomorrow. then cut the frame down to suit the new seat.
