The white is my second choice if the orange 3.2 Wildtrak doesn't turn up.

I like it in green (though this is the old model)- I'm just tired of the standard colors that comprise most of the vehicles here:

    Why not vinyl wrap it?
You can have any colour you want
You have pristine original paintwork when you sell it

Vinyl never looks as good as real paint (though it's a good way to fix up a poor or rashed paint job)- I just want it as it comes from the factory (with perhaps a few factory options)- I don't want to mess around with the after-market.

The color isn't that big of a deal to me- if orange wasn't available, I'd be happy with something else- I just happen to like it best of what's offered.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I agree, hence I got a burgundy one (Copper Red). It looks smart and there's only 3 in the province according to the dealer.

I actually saw another one in burgundy this morning- again, I think it's a great color for the Ranger- I might have gone for it if it was offered for the new Wildtrak.

What is the difference between the wildtrack and the ranger?
Isit just a sportpack of options? Wheels, bars etc?

As to the colours, Ford has a history of occasionally bringing out models with vibrant, different colours. They did it in Aust with the sporty falcons.
Problem is a few years later the colours look really naff.

^ Agreed - that's why the orange might have a short shelf life and then you're stuck with it unless you update regularly.

Stuck with it? A 3.2 Wildtrak in any factory color will be an easy sell no matter how old it is as long as it's in decent shape. You may not like the color, but the fact is that the wait for one in orange can be more than six months if you order it today- it will always be in demand.

It's not like it's shocking pink with a 'Hello Kitty' theme.

Look at the new cars you see on the old today- the ones that are actually offered in less sedate colors sell very well (especially in the Mazda and Nissan lines).

It's not that colors other than shades of gray/silver/brown and black and white aren't generally offered in LOS because the Thais don't like them, but rather that the Thais just aren't given the options by the major manufacturers- how many red/green/royal blue Mazda 2's and 3's do you see now that they're available here, even though they're offered in the more sedate colors as well?

^ & ^^ OK, it's your money, makes no difference to me - just giving my 30c worth of opinion.

I don't mind the orange, I just think the white is better.

I agree the mundane colours of the past here are shockers and Thais would like the brighter colours cos everyone will notice them more.

    I'm a bit past that I'm afraid....

BTW you've always got BB as a back up if he ever turns up again and you change your mind and he can make a decision and....

BB will never buy anything but another Honda City- he'll do a lot of talking about other models, though.

On the way home today I took extra notice of the other vehicles I passed- out of about 100, I would say that (excluding taxis) at least ninety were the usual colors- I saw a few Mazdas that were pretty bright, an orange Nissan March, a few Toyotas in the blue they've offered for the last couple of years, and (what I think was) a Mitsubishi in aquamarine (it didn't appeal to me, but at least it was different). It's surprising in a nation where they have a (childish, in many cases) love of color that the cars are so drab.

Been taking the chevy colorado offroad and in our plantation, no complaints at all, outhere they are selling great since Ford simply doesn't deliver, nice pics and all but where are the cars ???? waiting, waiting, fuck that. Luckily we all have different taste our we would all be driving the same vehicles.
