Kids and the Mrs are looking great. I'm glad it was an enjoyable vacation for your family. Give my regards to the Mrs. The kids are now so tall! When I met them in Vientiane, the younger one was still so small.
The wife thought it pretty funny watching my facial expressions while trying to eat this intestine thing.

"the young bloke enjoying the spring onion pancake" - ooh, I learned to cook that. I had a Korean phase during the early days of the pandemic. Learned to cook japchae (chapchae), diff veg pancakes, bulgogi, make kimchi, c/o YT channel Maangchi.
@BLD - those intestines have high uric acid content. Not advisable if you're prone to gout. I couod eat a lot of that before, but now no more.
Hope things continue on the up w/ you & your family.
Love the food pics. It's good to eat Korean BBQ with fam or friends.
I gave those intestines a swerve the wife and kids had no problem however. Strangely when I worked in the Philippines I used to love chicharon bulaklak which is basicly pig intestines deep fried and if we were still hungry then some kinilaw would be ordered. Happy days and I sure do miss it.people can say what they want about Filipino food but there's some hidden gems amongst it. I would kill for a good adobo right now.
Today I was thinking about our Filipina friend rhea who died recently here in Oz, really could cook up a storm and her adobo was the best. So tomorrow night were having pork adobo for dinner . The pork will be marinated overnight in a recipe I've just googled on and toppers suggestion of string beans will be a must. Just nipped down to the store for about $20 worth of pork, I've got the Filipino vinegar ( datu puti) and all the other fixing except for the string beans. I will post up the result tomorrow. but what could possibly go wrong? Not even chitty could fuck this up
