The asterix for you means everything you say needs to be *taken with a grain of salt because you're Australian.
The cross for Karen is because she's a professional victim / martyr.

I tried out the friending thing and after adding Latindancer and OhOh as a 'Friend' without sending a friend request, I realised that I had actually only added them as contacts and not 'friends'. Then I thought about it a bit and worked out/found out what the difference is between a "Friend" and a "Contact" on this forum.
You can add anyone as a 'Contact'. You only become a 'Friend' with a contact if you send them a friend request and the other person accepts it. So 'friends' are mutual contacts who have agreed to be 'friends'.
So what's the difference in practice? Not much, maybe none for some members, but potentially there is some for others. It all depends on what settings you have chosen in your control panel in the Profile Privacy part.
https://teakdoor.com/profile.php?do=privacy
In Profile Privacy, you can set things to either: Everyone, Registered Members, Your Contacts, Your Friends.
If all your profile privacy options are set to Everyone, Registered Members or Your Contacts, there will be no difference between what contacts and friends can see. The only difference will be when you have a setting as 'Friends'.
So now you know.![]()
You're welcome.

The + means that VAT is not included.
The * normally gives a disclaimer at the footer of a document.
In Latins case, maybe he is 7% short of something?
For Willy, probably something along the lines of being a/an (fill in the blank).
*Please remember that they can be positive attributes before you start writing bad things about these 2 upstanding posters of the TD community.
