I've noticed some larger pictures are now mounted in an auto-resize frame.
This is new... are you upgrading the system?

Picture re-sizer has been installed
Ok thanks for the reply.
I assume change is limited by the volume of pictures that are already on the system, but any further upgrades being considered?
Yes.
VBulletin will be upgraded but don't ask me when.
A new TD gallery is in the pipeline.
Does it help to resize em before posting ? instead of getting the message on top of the pic telling you its been resized
^
All images which are over 800px wide are resized.
If the pic is >800 wide then it won't be resized and won't get the message on top
(I think that's how it works)
It's a freaking headache with that text on every photo especially when someone has written a commentary just above it about the photo below
Was this done to stop the home page shrinking on people's pc's with their screen resolution set at 800x600?

Even the cheapest cameras are 12MP these days.
Pictures posted now are far bigger than they were in 2007 and TD has not kept up with increase.
Having to scroll sideways in every picture thread is a PITA if the pictures are big and you haven't got a wide screen.
I don't understand the problem.Originally Posted by Dillinger
Looks OK to me, it's a different font and background.
Will the resizer work on pics hosted on external sites too or just ones in the TD gallery?
All pics as far as I know
