    yes.
    I think it's around 7,000 baht a year .
covers accident, emergency and in patient treatment.
    not outpatients.

Does your policy give you so much a day for the cost of a hospital room? Is there any restrictions on which hospitals you can use? I'll nedd to get health insurance once I move to C.M. in January and would much rather deal with an agent than a web site.

Some health insurance companies in the U.S. will pay 80% of the cost and leave the policy holder to pay the 20% (the percentages are different for other insurance companies). By the cap, I was just wondering if there is an amount (say from a triple bypass surgery) that BUPA won't go over, like 1-2 million baht for a proceedure? I have a 62 year old brother that just retired and is paying $492 per month for insurance. The price for insurance n Thailand seems ridulously cheap for the amount of coverage (not that I'm complaining).

i think it would cover anything.
so long as it's an emergency.
i have found that it does.

Hopefully, they would consider a heart attack (or blockage of the arteries) an emergency. I'll check with 3-4 insurance companies but I haven't read anything bad about BUPA (except switching between their level of coverages can be difficult with a pre-existing condition (which I don't have, as far as I know)

i am certain that a heart attack would be considered a bit of an emergency.
