Has anybody ever read any of those self improvement books?
I feel that I am in a bit a need for some self improvement and saw a load of books at Asia Books today but have no idea what ones to read.
Any recomendations or are they all bollocks?

I bought the "No Grain Diet", but due to a lack of health food shops selling obscure pseudo-grain types discovered in ancient Babylon, I never followed its recommendations.
I was thinking more of motivational books or books which will encourage me to be more pleasant to people.
I know, but I was feeling sorry for this thread.
I'm sure that others will come and help tomorrow once they are awake.

I've read a few of what my described as self-awareness books, but without knowing you it would be hard to say what you might benefit from.
One that I would recommend to everyone though is 'Games People Play' by Eric Berne, there are a fair few reviews of it if you Google for it.

This is a definite side effect to not drinking.
If you got drunk more often, you would have plenty of epiphiny's on self help.
Along with radical house improvement ideas and money making schemes.
Couple of bottles and you will be fine.

Thought it was time to increase my understanding more.
There is a book called the e-myth whihc I think is essential reading for people wanting to start there own businesses.
most o those books are bollocks - they are either common sense stuff that anybody can work out on their own ( eg: The seven steps of success ) or namby pamby hippy shit.
