I honestly can think of nothing I would fancy less than Tom yam goong (from the picture) when I am under the weather. Chicken broth soup - maybe tomato soup. Chicken noodle soup when I am staring to feel better.

Eddy have you considered the option that maybe your wife is poisoning you?

1 too many Lego cars perhaps?

People who work for a living don't seem to get under the weather in quite the same way, though.

    Phew.

it was close there for a minute, but I am massively relieved that our Lu got over this life-threatening bout of sickness (and taken in countless TD posters along the way).

Actually, still really foggy, spaced out and 'different' the last few hours, like Looper, it comes and goes.

Less intense than before though, still very odd mind.

It's good that on an 'off day' you're feeling a bit like someone you clearly admire almost as much as yourself.

    Abstract

Masturbation is common in all societies. Despite being common, it is admonished culturally and almost all religions prohibit masturbation and consider it an act of immorality. The prohibition for masturbation leads to a lot of cultural beliefs, including certain myths, which influence sexual behavior of the person.

The impact of these common cultural myths associated with masturbation, are clinically understood as Minty syndrome and masturbatory guilt. Although there is a reasonable literature on Dhat syndrome, there is limited literature with regard to masturbatory guilt especially linking the same with axis-I psychopathology. In this case series, three cases of masturbatory guilt are presented in whom masturbatory guilt was associated with manifestation of severe psychopathology. This report suggests that masturbatory guilt must be enquired for in patients presenting with severe mental disorder.

It comes and goes. As in, Looper... cums and goes (roots then leaves.)

The foker's still hanging about. Dull brain, foggy, foked memory, low energy, slight anxiousness of it coming on again/not leaving.

Back to bed instead of a 30km cycle. :/

    Thanks.

It will be a while yet. It seems gone, then comes back and I can't do anything but lay down, feel crazy/dizzy/anxious. :/

    There was.

At the best hospital's lab clinic on the island.

Waiting for the results, and consultation afterwards.

In the meantime they sent me another patient's private and highly personal information and test results instead.

Which I thought was nice of them.

Last night was feeling completely healed. Today's plan was to go for a 30km cycle in the morning. Lunch outside, haircut, massage and shopping in the afternoon.

6 days since it started and I can't do any of them. :-( Just need to plonk on the sofa feeling zombified and crazy or go to bed feeling disorientated, dizzy and just wrong in ze ol' mental, just a feeling of craziness. Short-term memory and all thing cognitive are shot to shizz. Don't want to go outside due to feeling weak, passy-outty/crazy.

It's not a physical sickness in any way, other than a slightly knotted stomach and very low energy from not able to eat a lot.

Edmond, your symptoms, as described by you, sent shivers down my spine, made my toes curl and hair stand on end in memory of the last time I suffered them and endured the horror of that dreadful psychosis they presaged. I was a fine, healthy and optimistic chap until that fateful day when unencumbered by any thoughts of doubt, fear and anxious dread I journeyed over the Severn bridge and fell among……….the Welsh.

    The horror, the horror!

You may be suffering from some Covid variant or it could be the sudden onset of Alzheimer’s. Or it maybe you have long suppressed, say, some latent homosexual desire and this aberration of your psyche is a manifestation of a psychosomatic reaction. Or it could be the epiphany that life is truly a crock of shit and you’re having difficulty in adjusting.

Jeez, up here in the sticks I walk into hospital, get blood test within 30mins and talk to doctor about the results after having lunch. All done and on my way home by 15:30 including the shopping trip.

Stop your mucking around and get a debrief on the results, you silly bugger.

^ It's a proper test down here. 1 day for full results. They're not just checking for which raw bugs we ate for breakfast.

^ It's a proper test up in Udon too. Same standard as the one in Germany. A full check-up takes a few hours longer but still have everything done in one day and debrief on results. I have full check up every 2 years and blood test every year. Same day appointment each time.
