    This comment was interesting ...

    How does it work?

Creatine is involved in making the energy muscles need to work.

Vegetarians and other people who have lower total creatine levels when they start taking creatine supplements seem to get more benefit than people who start with a higher level of creatine.
Skeletal muscle will only hold a certain amount of creatine; adding more won't raise levels any more.
This "saturation point" is usually reached within the first few days of taking a "loading dose."

    L-carnitine ...

    Why do people take L-carnitine?

L-carnitine is a popular supplement for athletes.
However, studies have not found that it helps improve sports performance, muscle adaptions, or endurance.

First time I took Creatine was in tablet form, and I don't know what else was in it but I had an allergic reaction (headaches, and hives under my armpits..) and didn't bother again for 10 years.

Bought some powdered pure Creatine recently (Prolabs brand, pictured) and can see an immediate big strength improvement in weight lifting and cardio (in short bursts). No side effects, erm so far.

Pour the milk in a big pot slowly bring it up to a near boil, stirring constantly. Websites can tell you the temp, I just watch it. When you see it rolling a bit, couple bubbles, turn down the heat and slowly stir in the lime juice. It should curdle. Let it cool a bit and with a strainer take out the curds and lay them on a cheesecloth. Add some salt and whatever else you want. I like salt and small pieces of dry red pepper. Lots of different suggestions online for flavouring. I use the cloth they use in sticky rice containers as its easy to find also easy to clean. Squeeze the living crap out of it over your container of whey. Put cheese in a container, I use a square tupperware and then put another container, same size on top. I put some tin cans in the empty one to compress the cheese. Put in your fridge, eat a couple hours later. presto. The whey is the byproduct. Again as stated I have no idea how it compares to the powder.

I tried milk straight from the cow, it failed, no idea why. Meji worked for me the other times.

^Pfft! Just about everything you eat or drink is 'supplemented' in some way, from your tap water, milk, cereals, etc. Whey and Creatine are just condensed protein without the fat and carbs.

The problem is Dil that the internet is a massive source of misinformation and poor information. You can "prove" anything you like, the reverse and various shades of in all directions with internet "proof". Anyways, yesterday, I was busy researching in-ear buds and then shopping and trying some out...

Would make a top thread that

    7 down, 5 or 10 to go

Started rucking, its basically sticking a 10kg weight in your backpack then go walking. Burns twice the calories of walking alone. Had to take the bastard off half way. I'll try 5kgs tomorrow.

When's the TD Mr tugger contest?

You can all start with making your own cheese, Whey and litmusing yourselves to see who has the most acidic skin before choosing the best baby oil to rub in each other.

Cujo ref the last Kg, cut an ear off.
