Pork...chicken..eggs etc...have protein? I think I have eat a lot too...
Eat more protein, and stress/stretch your muscles out daily, use resistance bands, push ups and squats, a little at a time, often,...you'll soon build up solid weight in the right places, firmer tits too...
For me I think everyone not have same body...we have to joke here in thai some people eat a lot not fat but some eat a little can make fat...or just say only breathe can make fat hehe
The contradictions of such a false and promoted studies are 10 fold.
Of the last few generations, Asian rices [a staggering variety] have largely been hybrid and fused to dismiss much much less sugary producing glutenous enzymes, therefore the modern invented [and faux] health scare composites are incredibly exaggerated.
One of, probably a few points left behind within the one-sided scientific research.
Shouldn't surprise, should it - making shit up as they go.
Dumbing down, generally speaking, is what they do - and all circles fallow their lead, if repeated often enough.
Yes, that's what I'm doing, ENT.
Lately I have been getting a form of carbs - from drinking about 4 beers per night.
But with food, I'm eating 0 carbs (or less than 10 grams per day with food).
That said, I STILL need to workout or I will have the "gut."
I took about 5-6 weeks off from the gym for no reason really. I've paid the price.
Later today, I'll be back to the gym to re-start.
Do Hookers give Teflers a discount these days?
Just because Teflers earn 10 baht per day that is certainly no reason for a cut-price shag.
Maybe Lek just farts in the Teflers general direction and the Tefler accepts that as some form of kinky sex.
Dunno ?
Sounds awfully cheap to me though.
I was on a modest teaching wage in Thailand, but still managed to afford personal healthcare check-ups, dental visits, etc..
Just a matter of prioritizing... nothing is more important that your health.
Gotta keep regular exercise going, for sure, even a walk and just a few reps at anything daily works well.
4 beers per night would not only make me fat but give me tits.
Around 3 stubbies of Dark beer Lao, or 2 big bottles of Archa every 2 weeks, has tended to become my limit these days.
All my carbs come from fruit, oats and nuts and an occasional meal with rice, other than those beers.
Regular workouts now do more to keep muscle mass and tone, rather than burn fat.
I do that at training when I need heaps of energy.
Gymnema's brilliant for reducing fat, and as a diuretic, so muscle is tending to be lean meat rather than water bulked.
You must be minted ENT will all that liquid cash.
I do agree with your views on looking after your health.
I must differ though when you say a modest teacher's wage will sort it, minor issues aside that is.
It's fair to say that one serious illness like cancer will see the Tefler with no real money tucked away heading for the nearest condo to jump off.
That equally applies to retirees or any other Expat who resides in Thailand with minimal money reserves.
Best hospital in the world available though if you can afford them. Bumungrad as an example.
The major downside is this.
Even if you are fully Insured on the best health plan available the company has the option of dumping you after you have made an Insurance claim for cancer lets say. Could be an ingrown hair in your arse even.
Way it is in Monkey Town. Cash is the only security in Monkey Town.
Young people having a crack usually ain't to concerned about the health issue but given the number of old farts getting around Thailand drinking Chang 24-7 it's surely wise to be prepared for the oncoming stroke, heart attack or brain injury caused by falling from their bar stool when pissed out of their minds.
That lot don't consider this aspect though, usually too pissed up.
Not a problem though as long as you die before you wake up in ICU.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think a little sleep in ICU will set you back 20-30 K a night in a quality private hospital in Bangkok.
That's a Teflers monthly wage ain't it. Around it anyway.
The fully qualified educator can pull a 100 K plus in a University in BKK so they are sorted mainly.
^ Well, TDB.. I wasn't just relying on my teaching income.. I had other sources of income (as well as savings)...
I almost bought some rice malt today rather than the usual honey.....it's half the price, too. Never tried it before. I'll have to look up whether it is more likely to give me diabetes than honey, which has levulose and another sugar in it.
